Luigi, how would one have a sprint only team when u can only get a max of 2 sprinters? Sprinter + wildcard. |

I think Luigi's team is about as sprint only as it gets with kittel and demare. |

I think Nizzolo could do what he did last year and take home the sprinters jersey so he is a solid pick.

Nizzolo went for and got points at the intermediates but way too far back with a km to go. He said he went flat out for the last km just taking back as many places as possible without ever sprinting as such. Hopefully better today... |

down to 10th overall but still first in the daily league, Roglic crashing and Démare not really scoring super high set me back a little.

I seem to have taken up my usual position in the league of just outside the top 25 
Still a long way to go but a few of the leaders in the overall league are currently well off the pace. I'm assuming their teams are built for the mountains and not the sprints. |

Nice Strydz. Okay day for me but perhaps more importantly for the long run all 5 of my potential GC guys were solid, Nizzolo hung in there longer than all the other main sprinters and Jay McCarthy gave it a go in the last break coming into the final climb...hopeful... |

Meh, I should remember to never ever change my squad to Grand Tours. Okay, it's some sort of experiment again (on Romandie it worked), but after 4 stages I can say to never ever do that "experiment" in Grand Tours... Still 2 weeks of riding, but Geniez is already out so... Crap .
1, 7, 12, 14 today so it is still something than absolutely nothing. In GC 3, 11, 12, 13 & 20. I will have more than 14 points. |
