Hello
We are glad to annouce that we've signed with our last young talent for the next season, Albert Llanet have signed with us, as he was unable to extend his contract at Movistar.
He is identical with our coming captain J.Nokkvason and will also work closely under his guidance, but he will also get a chance to ride for himself in other races, more to come soon

Harrini & Bousche were 2 more guys on my naughty list, but since their managers are still active in the game, I'll allow it for now.
List of custom riders and their teams added on page 1
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Next step worked out: natural progress and decline. Let me know what you think!
Decline:
A rider aged 34+ will lose 1 point in every stat of 75 or higher
A rider aged 36+ will lose 1 point in every stat of 70 and higher
A rider aged 38+ will lose 1 point in every stat
They are to be combined, so for example a 39 year old will drop from 76 to 73 and from 69 to 68, while a 37 year old will drop from 77 to 75 and from 72 to 71.
Natural progress (not to be confused with the upgrades that costs points)
A rider aged 18-21 will receive 2 stat upgrades that have not been updated before
A rider aged 22-26 will receive 1 stat upgrade that has not been updated before
Stats cannot be raised above 80 this way, nor are riders with a stat of 80 or higher eligible for this (excluding fighter and downhill).
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

I like it, in fact I think this is ideal

Interesting system. However, I think the ages are a tad too low. Put all of those one or two years up, and I would really like that system. Because I don't agree with Valverde already declining.
The natural progress I like pretty much. I really like this "not updated before" bit as I seriously have the fear, that at the end of next season there will only be silly-specialized riders. I'd like some system that ensures more all-round riders as nobody spents points on the FLA stat of a climber f.e.

Taking this into consideration, for more all-round riders, I'd like the natural progress in this way, that only stats can be upgraded that are either low theirselves (under 75 or so) or are at least one/two/three stats under the AVG. That would give us a bit more realistic riders, I think.

Surely you should just say they aren't able to update their stat of 80

Great! Especially like how they multiply together to make a serious impact across the entire stat range and for every stat.
If anything i would have made some loss to 32+ rider's, like a -1 in highest 3 stats or something. But this is not fully necessary, just would make the EPIC riders (the point of the game) more relevant quicker.

Don't like the "not been updated before". If someone had been trying to balance out their rider this is now penalized and prevented. Yes it prevents ott one-dimension riders but as we've all seen these riders don't get the best results (Hinault aside ) so any half smart member would not do that. Also i hope you've kept a solid record of who has had what updated (cause i'm off to edit my posts in season breaks )
Don't like the limit on riders with an 80+ not being able to upgrade at all. Instead limit them by not being able to increase a stat over 75? If we want to remove the one-dimensional riders, not allowing them to balance out is illogical and promotes pure spending on those single stats when possible.
I do like the idea of a free upgrade to all riders 18-26. It's not going to make much of a difference to most riders but is better than nothing and will be useful to every team.

Thank for confirming my initial thoughts about this system. Everyone will have his own thoughts about the different ages I guess.
The reason I make the above 80 rules is that guys like Quintana, Sagan, etc shouldn't get secondary stat upgrades for free. They're good enough already, if you want to upgrade them any further, you have to spend your points
The "not updated before" is indeed to stop one-dimentional riders. I don't think anyone is in that much trouble already that they can't find a slightly useful stat to update
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

About decline system. Like it, but a bit too less flexible. If it gets like this, it will end up like PCM. A rider wins big time at age 34, but over that age performs shit.
I think superstars like Purito or Boonen should, if their season was good, decline slower. When they are no longer superstars, e.g. not achieving a certain (high) quota of points, they decline like others.
A half-worth domestique has less motivation to train at this age than guys on the top.

The natrual declining+training will be available after or before aging +1 for the riders? (as example Geraint Thomas its 26 in the game, he can be updated or not because he will be 27 next year?) |

Well I think that it will be hard to make it as real as possible, a lad like Jens Voigt probably rode his best when he got older

He's still 26, as this is his natural progress over this year.
