Happy anniversary. The TDF celebrates its one month anniversary today.
Will be interesting to see if we can get another podium finish besides Klöden's. |

Le Tour de France
Here we are. Today the riders will twice climb the Alpe d'Huez. This is one of the closest editions of the Tour de France in history, with just 12 seconds separating the top 2 riders. Here we go.
In the break today are Bouet, Kloden, Mourey, Paulinho, Anacona, Edet, Chavanel and Marczynski.
Kittel is narrowly the best of the sprinters at the intermediate point. The German is still a chance for the Green jersey.
At the base of the first climb up the Alpe, attacks come from De Clerq, Peeters, Favre and Barguil.
They manage to catch the break with 52km still to go.
Barguil is first onto the descent. Favre doesn't seem up to the challenge, he is dropped. There are 40 riders in the peloton right now, with all the main guys in there.
The riders face a difficult descent into the fog.
Here we go! With 12km to go we finally see fireworks! Kreuziger is the first to go, and is followed by Quintana and Froome.
It's 2 breakaway riders, Anacona and Marczynski, who lead by 2'15.
With 7km to go, Anacona attacks. Quintana and Froome are catching up. The other favourites aren't giving an inch.
Froome gets ahead! Quintana looks to be on his last legs. Could this be where the Britton takes Yellow?
Finally! It took a while, but with 5km to go, attacks come from Nibali, Contador and Kwiatkowski who try to minimise the gap.
With 3.5km left Quintana and Froome make the pass. It looks like the Colombian made a dangerous bluff, but it looks to have worked.
In the next favourites' group are Contador, Nibali, Kreuziger, Meyer, Valverde and Kwiatkowski.
With 1km left Quintana leads, but not by much. No matter who wins the stage, the time gaps should be minimal if existant at all.
The Colombian still leads going into the final burst, and really looks the strongest.
And he's done it! Nairo Quintana wins Stage 18. He played some dangerous tactics, but he's done it.
Behind him Anacona takes 3rd. The other favourites have caught up.
The finish was just a bit too far away for Meyer and Kwiatkowski.

Here goes the Tour.ShitNibbles not strong at all.
Finally some normal gaps.
Voeckler falls out of top 10 finally.
But ''The yellow jersey does always better ''thing strikes again with Quintana again beating Froome

His Mountain is 78 in this game because of the Cycleman's updates on season break 2.
I take my words back. His recovery is 69.How the heck can he stay with those guys in a stage where recovery is needed too much?
So,I am with you

The 78 MO is ok, but 69 recovery and 73 hill makes this result insane. Also, no team to support him. I can understand Niemiec staying up there because of Scarponi and Cunego, but Meyer just doesn't make sense. Really disappointed in PCM14.
Well, at least Voeckler is going down..

Our first 11th place finish. If Tejay gets beaten by Cam Meyer, I'm done.

I hope all riders don't have the same number of race days for next season
@ The Schleck Fan - It is great to see you so active in EPIC, you should definitely consider joining the ICL for season 2. |

That's how you roll it!
Well done, Nairo!

Think from the other way.
Quintana's attack and pacing this time really cracked Nibbles out of the game.
