This prove that this calculated stats doesn't work perfectly. It's very helpful but need to be improved.


It is stats based on Final results. So in Majka's case this performance last year in the TdF where he had stage wins and the polkadot jersey. This was doen by him trough attacking, but the calculation can't filter that. As for the other examples many good results lead to a high stat in that area.

hoping to add 610 results from 2014 later today.
All .2 or .2U or .NE results.
Lots of work catorigizing every result, but slowly getting there.

Will give more indepth stats to the upcomming / unknown / new cyslist I hope.

How can I use the updated Stats in my PCM?
I want to play with a more realistic/updated skillset of riders.

Like it states here, it is based of JesGD2015 so I've used his DB and filled it with my stats. I did this though mapping the rider_id's with the id's of the cyclist in my Excel.

This process can ofcourse be done by you in a db of your own preference.

- all World Tour results of 2011
- all WT, .HC and .1 results of 2012 and 2013
- all WT, .HC, .1, .2, .2U and .NE results of 2014 until now

- created stats for 5575 cyclist based on those results

I see that Alaphilippe stats does not truly represent its current skills. A solution may be to create a degressive discount for older results of young cyclists (the effect disappearing at 25). And conversely a progressive discount for older results of older cyclists (the effect kicking in at 30).

I did the Giro update (and all the other races for that matter) and here is the new stats based on FINAL results (of last 4 years);

Hey TankNL,

i read all 12 Pages of this Thread. My English is not the best.
Great Compliment for the idea and the Excel you made.

Now i have a Question. How can i transfer your last file to an database. I want to begin a new Career with your last uodate and the JESGD v2.0 . You only had uploaded a JESGS 1.75v Database

Thanks for the compliments and the interest!
I will try to create a new .cdb based on the 2.0 version of JesGD
Hope to have it done by monday, but will have to see how much time I have this weekend.
Will then also post an update with the results up to now "pre- Tour de France".
