Im not any expert at spanish (read it for a couple of years), but I dont think Valverde and Pinot are the best friends. I think it means something along the lines that Pinot apparantly hve touched Valv and that it sorta broke his bike (?). Seems odd, looked to me as Valverde simply didnt have anymore left. Whats sure is they will try to drop eachother everyime the opportunity presents itself.

Nah, I do also have troubled with that, even though i clearly rooted for Contador against Nibbles and Froome. And thats just a result of Contador being awesome.
But well, thats danish media. Technically its not danish anymore, but it still has some roots, so I guess its kinda understandable.

He indeed had. 18th in GC is absolutely great for him. What a great all-rounder.
I don't know why Team Sky don't have that much faith in him, he always rides for others who then let all his work stand for nothing by not finishing off the job , he would be an even greater asset for the team if they gave him support for a change

I am supporting Contador, because he is one of the most entertaining riders to watch, and Majka I really don't know why, but it is certainly not because of the victory for TST that I am happy. It is because my favourite rider in the pack has won a TDF stage.
Other than that I agree with Riis123. It certainly has some danish roots.

I guess it will wear off eventually. The young Danish talents might spark a new Danish team in some years though and will be more interesting to follow the natives fight in the Tour.

Yeah, thats also what I hope, allthough Bjarne for sure will try to pursue them and I think it is something Tinkov has accepted, as long as they are talented enough. I must admit that i really love Tinkov and agrees with him for the most parts (especially the zero tolerance thing about Sky, that was spot on imo) and I will still kinda support them as long as I like the riders, but the media coverage is way too much.
This stage was pretty good, I saw a great Nibali once again and also Peraud is in the best shape he's ever been atm. Mollema and Ten Dam decent, Ten Dam showing better shape every day and Mollema is at his level, around 7th-10th. A bit disappointed but still good.
Well, Ten Dam will eventually overtake Mollema which wasnt what I had expected. Ten Dam is doing brilliantly, while Mollema seems sorta empty everytime something gets forced up front. In this field, I would honestly feel like Mollema should be doing better.

I agree he is a great all round rider but what support would you have Sky give him? He certainly isn't a GC contender for a GT, hilly one week stage races could be his bag and maybe some one day races. You say he does alot of work without riders finishing it off for him but look at 2012 & 2013 and his leaders certainly finished it off by winning the TDF.

Meh, today for the first time I think it's safe to say Mollema was NOT at his level. Mollema at his level would have finished around 10th place with Ten Dam.
Today he was clearly worse. I think the illness in the first week keeps him from reaching top form. Unfortunately things will only get worse from now on. Best for Mollema is to either take a total rest day, let the peloton go, and try a stage win. But it's probably too early for Belkin to give up 7th place so they will force him to keep riding GC.

Ten Dam looks much better tho
I honestly think Mollema is around his maximum. Ten Dam is the better climber of the two, Mollema is not on top form, but TVG, Bardet, Pinot, Valverde and even Peraud are better than him even when he is in form. So in this field he is exactly what I expected. I expected him to be in better shape but yeah, he never reaches his top form this Tour unfortunately. We´ll see.

One of the better TDF in recent years IMO, some nice racing displayed by the 'second' tier GC riders, who have belief that they can get a podium in the end. These mountain stages have been very good, lets hope it continues
we are also not blinded by a sky rider owning eveything. we are watching past a astana rider owning everything.
Yes, very unfortunate that in the last 3 editions the #1 spot has been rather secure very fast and it was all too dominating. Give me a Cadel TdF win again if it means that the race is open until the last day. No (sportive) drama & excitement in the place where its needed the most.
However, the GC guys behind Nibali deliver quite some great racing, so I still enjoy the Tour. But all in all, I'm very underwhelmend, especially considering the hype upfront, and I consider it an average Tour so far due to its circumstances for whom I blame neither organization nor riders. It's just is as it is. Only stage to highlight is definitely Arenberg.

Look at this fantastic comment from Poland:
Keeping in mind that Wyrzykowski and Jaroński are known to be the best and the most hilarious Polish commentators at the same time, you can't really be surpirised by these emotions. Man, it's ben 21 years since Zenon Jaskuła. It's juts 2nd Polisgh stage triumph in TdF. No one here will wonder how it happened and quality behind it. It's just a rage of joy.
