Seems a bit overexaggerated...
It's bbl. If you know him well you'd understand
Anyhow, well done UK.
I think no need for my reaction, all was already said here Just that Coquard <3

Brilliantly done by the Brits indeed, huge amount of fans! Always good to see as long as they respect the rider's space.
And @Alakagom I don't know BBL well indeed, but killing yourself because your fav rider is injured is still exaggerated. (I know it's a figure of speech) |

Yeah very nice turnout by british fans.
@Riis Trust me, I don't have any issues with someone having a different opinion to me if its justified. In this case your opinion just seems wrong for me. Health of the riders is the most important thing. And just leave it at that.
MIRACLE

Cavendish was at fault, but had he done that to Kittel or Greipel I would have expected both to stay up - Gerrans isn't a mass sprinter. However, it was daft and unnecessary regardless and incredibly disappointing to see happen directly in front of me. Especially after moving around for 3 hpurs looking for a decent place to stand.
The start in Leeds was awesome. I got to speak to Vino and Hinault, plus got to see the whole Saxo, Ag2r, Movistar, Astana, Greenedge and Netapp teams warm up and ride to the start - which included Valverde thanking me for stopping to let him ride down the road. Then, after an hour and a half waiting for the train to Harrogate, I ended up meeting the Prime Minister. As you do

You are a idiot. Really. To stop and check out your crashed injured team mates..when you do not have GC ambition is dumb move?!

I already knew that but thanks for calling me anyway.
There are eight teammates for Cav so why should the one who could ride a classification stop? I didn't knew Kwiatkowski wasn't going for a classification at all, and I also don't understand it because he won the youth classification last year. Anyway the jury decided to take away his time backlog so eventually it doesn't matter at all.

Oops. Okay, third in the youth classification. Top-10 in the GC.

According to Vaughters Talansky punctured within the 3 km to go. Both he and Kwiatek given winner's time.

I thought Kwiatek aims for GC so naturally he should continue riding. It is of course stupid to risk losing so much time on the last kilometer when you ride for GC. However, it's a good sign of character. Then remembering how he fared at Dauphine, it seems more like he takes on a Free Role and might prefer doing domestique duties at sprints and going for his own luck in week 2 or 3, putting GC hopes aside for another year. He had a long season and might not want to dig another time so deep, guess we'll find out.
Talansky - uh, luck in bad luck sorta situation.

Disappointed that Cav crashed. Not just because it was Cav, but because it means we didn't get a full fight for victory. Watching the highlights at the moment to see what happened - I was stood ~1.5km from the finish.
In the meantime, photos from earlier in the stage at Ilkley. Didn't manage to get on the barriers, so not ideal for photos - but managed to nicely pick out Cav and Nibali in the middle of the peloton as well, of course, as the breakaway (Voigt :cool and front of the peloton. Quite interesting that they all rode in team groups at the front of it all.

Navardauskas.
So relieved Talansky was not involved in any crash.
A chance for an epic stage tomorrow.
But only if GC favourites will want to race hard and I'm not sure they will. And the course shouldn't suit Talansky to much as well. |

Went to watch in Harrogate today and got a great spot near the line. Really enjoyed it, as my first ever cycling race. Shame Cavendish crashed but Kittel was very fast at the end and deserved it.
A couple of pictures of the sprint I took:
