I apologise for a slow pace, but this was one tough week for me. However, my school problems are basically now finished & holiday starts for me now. Therefore, I'll update this more frequently in future (not that I'll just sit on the computer over the summer to make DSJ4 reports, tho).

And, here we are, in front of last pre-season competition. For last time, the best ski-jumpers of PCMdaily World will have a space to make a mistake, as once we start with real-season competitions, it won't stop before the end. Everyone is ready and snowy show here in Kligenthal, Germany is ready to start.
Vogtland Arena which is the official name of ski jumping hill in Kligenthal is one historic hill, which was reconstructed to one of most modern winter complexes few years ago. It's not only used for ski-jumping, but for many different cultural things. Over 14 million dollars were spent on reconstructing this hill at the start of 21st century, so it's definitely worth a place in our calendar. Here are some basic infos :

Qualification [Pre-Season]
No big surprises today, as favourites justfied their positions and the guys (especially flyers and talents) once again failed to do well in qualifications. Following the logic so far, guys who fail in Qs are usually good in real competition, so some jumpers may be happy with their results!
Let's firstly start with guys who surprised today. Norwegian youngster, A. Wargunnson was by far the biggest surprise today, as he managed to get 137 meters, share hill record and get 2nd place today. Not many people except him surprised, except maybe L. Brandstatter.
Literally all favourites, including T. Woods, M. Santic, A. Mujagic, J. Zoltan, J. Smirnov, J. Harden, M. Oget and M. Martinez did really good. All of them finished in Top 10, while T. Woods was the guy with best result there, as he won Qs and shared record with already named Norwegian youngster above. This is definitely the least-surprising competition so far.
Flyers ( I. Suparman, F. Falcon, N. Kavlac, T. Terpstra) all finished mid or bottom table. All except A. Beckemann, who got one fairly good result finishing as 10th at the end. Rest of the guys, including normal-hill specialists and rest of talents did fairly solid today, without any result that stands out.
U. Zhukov, PJ Levre, H. K. J. P Otze, B. E. Bouborn, J. Nikkel, J. Johannson, S. Kursanka, S. Innauer and R. Kruspe are all in this "solid, but nothing that stands out" group of jumpers.
At the end of the day, one fairly good day without falls and with T. Woods on first place, A. Wargunnson on second and L. Brandstatter on 3rd position.
