I'm pretty happy with that. Just wonder what could have happened had my two main stage hunters not crashed out on the first bloody stage .
For the next one, could it not be riders under 25 instead of older ones? Just remove any rider that's above 75AVG or something similar.

i am wondering what could have been, too.
I hoped I could get second in UC maybe I was the only one who even had a realistic chance of beating Aer Lingus/Sanchez as I had a good advantage after the TTT and a strong GC contender...
But well, shit happens.
Next time I will score more points than this time. I promise!
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

I was sixth after the last stage, but fell back to tenth. And the differences were so small.

Disappointed that we didn't get any stage wins, but finishing 3rd in the UC-rankings with best rider 24th in the UC rider-rankings is more than expected. Expecially after having had last pick in the first round eliminating all the obvious GC guys.

Thanks all TOTC3 should be up in the coming weeks...
For rider selection, for sure, there will be restrictions like Brewers90 pointed out..
I am thinking there will be 9 pots of riders and everyone has to pick 1 rider from all nine pots using serpentine system again....
We will use the three choices per row idea again but in TOTC3 if you miss out on the third rider then you will be randomly assigned a rider from the pot (which makes everything a lot easier).
eg...
POT 1 = Selected riders = 73 - 74 AVERAGE (No Italians)
POT 2 = Selected riders = 71 - 73 AVERAGE (No Italians)
POT 3 = Selected riders = 70 - 72 AVERAGE (Italians included)
etc etc etc....... ..
Be sure to sign up for the next one everyone. |

Wait what's the difference between UC after stage 21 and final UC. How did I go from 3rd to 9th?

There are also points for the final classification and the final standings from the points and the mountain jersey. And apparently your position wasn't great in these classifications.

Was wondering how that happened, as it means some teams actually lost points.... and with the margins as small as they were in some cases that is a concern...

What are you on about?
The only time my control team has ever gained points has been when some of the riders have finished at the same time as the stage winner in a mass sprint: --- A rule is: 1 UC point per rider who finishes at the same time as the stage winner. There is no need for the control team to be in the rankings, but this way no one is last.
I have pretty much sorted a route/ riders for TOTC3 taking on board all the advise this time so the next addition should be up some time next week. |

There will be Italians, plenty in fact, but because of nationality bonus the Italians which will be available for selection will not be 'the best' in any of the categories.
I will set up a thread on the 1st December in the morning for TOTC 3.
---- Oh and Atlantius, the stages from the Jutland race will not be in the route as for this edition I feel I have as many cobble stages necessary and......................... I don't understand Danish! |

I think this Giro also needs San Remo and Lombardia since we're in Italy, aside from the cobbles.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.
