@ Mre - Indeed! I'll be sure to give him a raise He actually only uncovered two stats before I signed him (I only scouted for about 20 days) but they looked high so I rolled the dice and signed him
@ Ian - For sure! Super happy to be so high. I forget what helps us move up to the PCT, but 28th in Conti is quite high.
@ Miguel - He did. Actually 2 of my scouts have each found 2 Future Greats each Hruska is one himself, but I dont know his potential yet. I might check later. The others dont seem to have as high stats as Hruska though.
@ ste - I think he might end up being too good for us
@ HaRe - Thanks
@ Jezemekoule - Thanks very much! He should get the team some amazing results next year!
@ baia and Miguel - Yeah, I think so too! It is also really nice to see Costa so high. Obviously he's getting a chance to lead at Movistar, so hopefully he stays
@ sutty - Yep. He may end up being the strongest rider we bring in, during the transfer season.

GP Sudkarnten (1.2)
June 2nd, 2013
So as you can see with the profile, it is quite a hilly race. One of the favourites would have to be Herklotz or Torres, but Hunal is also seen as one of the favourites! Unfortunately, the race hasn't been able to attract too many teams to the race, and so we've got a very small amount of riders here which will mean the chase may have trouble, as more than likely, more than half the teams participating will have a rider in the break!
And so as predicted with 50km to go, the breakaway has a lead of 25 minutes and these 3 will be fighting it out for the win! Viktorin is in the break just as planned for us, as well as Daniel Westmattelmann and Kuen.
In the final km's a lot of attacks are made and Viktorin gets left behind by the other 2 riders, but in the sprint on the final hill he makes up a lot of ground and snatches 2nd place.
1 | Daniel Westmattelmann | Team Quantec - Indeland | 4h42'02 | 2 | Václav ViktorÃn | AC Sparta Praha | s.t. | 3 | Maximilian Kuen | Tirol Cycling Team | + 23 | 4 | Remco Broers | Team Vorarlberg | + 23'37 | 5 | Rodolfo Andres Torres Agudelo | Formesán - Bogotá Humana | + 23'53 | 6 | Silvio Herklotz | Team Stölting | s.t. | 7 | David Wöhrer | Tirol Cycling Team | + 24'20 | 8 | Martin Hunal | AC Sparta Praha | + 24'31 | 9 | Jure Golcer | Tirol Cycling Team | + 24'55 | 10 | Ivan Ramiro Parra Pinto | Formesán - Bogotá Humana | s.t. |
Riga GP (1.2)
June 2nd, 2013
And just like our race in Austria, here in Latvia we have a very small startlist, only a total of 36 riders in total! Its going to be important to get into the breakaway just like in Austria since I doubt the peloton will be able to bring them back with so little horsepower in the peloton!
A breakaway of 4 riders here! Nesveda is our man for today as this group has an advantage of 41 minutes with 70km to the finish of the stage! Its become obvious that one of these 4 will win the day!
We enter the finish town, and Nesveda is forced into taking up the front of the group heading into the sprint! But being the top sprinter in the group no one could come around him, and we get another amazing result, to cap off quite a great day of racing, probably our best total day of racing this year, with a win and a 2nd place in the span of a few hours!
Another crazy element to the stage is that all other riders were forced to abandon for finishing outside of the time limit, so this race had only 4 finishers.
1 | Jirà Nesveda | AC Sparta Praha | 5h15'36 | 2 | Scott Zwizanski | Optum p/b Kelly Benefit Strategies | s.t. | 3 | Mate Radonics | Utensilnord - Ora24.eu | s.t. | 4 | Alan Santos | Funvic Brasilinvest - São José dos Campos | s.t. |

Thanks a lot guys! Indeed it was two very weird races.
I've been considering the move up to Extreme. I think I will secretly try it out and not tell you which races I raced on Extreme and see if you can guess.

Dream-ish performance at An Post Ras
Hunal GC winner and 5 riders at top 10, no more you could wish here
Estonia was fine, these 2 races are 1.1 so better competition, Doležel peak some points, that's nice. What surprise me the most was that massive crash, haven't seen that at my game yet
about him I think you have a wrong surname of him, here: https://www.sparta-cycling.cz/tym/42/r...an-dolezel Hasn't Valor point it out yet?
Newbie Hruška (ENG - Pear) looking awesome, great talent!
It's very common sign Slovakian riders to Czech teams.
Second place at Austria with Viktorin, great one!
Nesveda's break of 4 shows others no mercy, leave the rest in the dust, strange but still It's win
but these two races shown as how dumb can peloton "chase", real race could not end that way (23 min lead, or even abandon)
---------------------------------------------
I was quiet few days but still following
I had a computer virus which totally ruin my computer so I had to fresh install everything.
Yep, thats me down here...

@ Welker - Yeah They definitely had the strength to attack and increase the pace near the end though
@ pavuk - Thanks a lot! An Post was a great race and you are right about Estonia. I'll fix the name as soon as possible. I never realized the db didn't have his name spelt correctly. Im glad you are taking the time to follow still, even when things happen that make it more difficult than usual. Hope everything with your computer is okay now!

Great victory! Isn't the race 1.2 instead of 2.1 though?

@ all - after this result, I think Im going to try playing on Extreme to see what its like.
Tour de Slovaquie Stage 1 (2.2)
June 4th, 2013
As you can see, the race is full of teams, and the quality of Conti riders is quite high too! Janier Acevedo is probably the race favourite, but Ivan Stevic and Anuar Manan are two top sprinters who will probably contest for all but 1 of the stages, as all but 1 are flat stages, with stage 2 being the only mountain stage! We have brought a very balanced squad here, but left out our top sprinting talent in Krotky. But lets get to the action!
The three riders in todays inevitable breakaway, including Viktorin! Unfortunately, the breaks bid for the stage win came unsuccessful and we would be treated to a mass sprint today! Luckily we have just the rider for that kind of finish too!
As the teams make the trains for their sprint leaders, we come round the final major bend from the finish line! Shpilevski's Lokosphinx team makes a very strong train, as well as Tusnad for Stevic! We couldn't really make our own train, so we told Hunal to follow the best wheel, which he thought was Stevic!
Later in the sprint, Hunal jumped from Stevic's wheel on to Blanco's wheel but then he felt he could come out of the slipstream and he did. The rest he said was all a blur, and all he remembers is not seeing anyone in front of him. He quickly looked around and realized he was going to win, and threw his hands into the air! That was a fast paced finish and I wasn't expecting the team to win, but its a great way to start the Tour!
1 | Martin Hunal | AC Sparta Praha | 3h35'01 | 2 | Krisztian Lovassy | Utensilnord - Ora24.eu | s.t. | 3 | Boris Shpilevsky | Lokosphinx | s.t. | 4 | Anuar Manan | Synergy Baku Cycling | s.t. | 5 | Jan Polanc | Radenska | s.t. | 6 | Christoph Schweizer | Synergy Baku Cycling | s.t. | 7 | Jaka Bostner | Radenska | s.t. | 8 | Ivan Stevic | Tusnad Cycling Team | s.t. | 9 | Ruben Companioni Blanco | Jamis - Hagens Berman | s.t. | 10 | Remco Te Brake | Metec - TKH Continental CyclingTeam | s.t. |
