Ouch, I realize Pinot would likely have slipped a little from 13th overall, but losing out on a top 20 and possible KOM is a massive blow for us in terms of the team standings.

Phew...
Now another win in Paris, and this race wasn't a huge failure.
Top 5 in the points classification should be secured. While that's still far less than expected, I can live with it.

Another great result. No win, but I cant expect to win anymore stages. Hopefully Guerao can get a top 5 more and stay in top 5 of the points competition.

Madrazo has been fairly conservative in this race, however this is a role reversal somewhat from the narrow Giro failure. Cannot see a way back for Cunego, the baton is perhaps passed in this one.
Must be galling for Roman here Coppel surely have would have won that.
Superb TT report Count, enjoyed the mini GC battles

This should be Madrazo's race now. A superb time trial, just amazing riding. He must have been on a good daily form seeing he ended 2nd on the stage.
Nice to see Intxausti go well after Bacardi's terrible season so far.
Looking forward to the final stages! |

Awesome, that's an incredible result for Madrazo.
Great report as well, I was getting more and more tense as I went down.

Cunego was never stopped by any crash (even went on to win the Giro) so 3 mountain stages and the expected 1m30sec gap. Caman Cunego vai vai vai vai vai vai

Well actually the Tour de France went for us very well:
Top 5 goal at the moment reached
2nd GC
Probably 1st Points ranking
3 stage wins
Big contribution to the 2nd team ranking place
KOM ranking also interesting at the moment but don't want to make a projection there
But if Cunego continues in my team that would be his last Tour unless someone else will use him as an luxury helper after the stop at my team.
I just can't see him that strong in the future in any Tour. So he would go for the Giro (and Vuelta).
So I hope the s out of the hope that Cunego can defend the title.

So unfortunate for Pinot/Wikipedia, at least he has many years to prove his skills in his home Tour.
Madrazo crushed Cunego in TT, i cant see him loosing it now with PCM12 and yellow jersey, but i hope for some nice fight from Damiano. Vai,vai!

Good that Cunego managed to make some time on Madrazo but unfortunately no time bonus.
With under a minute behind Madrazo the comeback is possible.
