Leukemans has now said that he has a natural high level of testosterone in his body. He also tested positive in 2001 and in 2006 due to the problem, but both times he was let go after further testing. He expects the same to happen this time.

The boss of the Belgium lab which made the test says that he will not say anything about the concrete case, but he says that the lab, of course, also tests for non-natural testosteron.
He also says that the lab has top facilities for testing for testosterone. Maybe that's the reason why Leukemans has decided to let the B-test be tested in Spain Wink

Cavendish and Wiggins will most likely be doing the Giro next year instead of the Tour, due to the Olympics.

Theyre currently in Gent but while Wiggins is going well - Cavendish isnt.

According to Cyclingnews:
In another attempt to explain his positive doping test for testosterone, Björn Leukemans has said that he was having sex when the doping controllers arrived to take his urine sample in an out-of-competition test shortly before the Worlds in September.

Cancellara will be Wiggins' main opponent next year for the Olympics. Although Wiggins' still has the edge as Cancellara is doing the RR, the TT, then the individual pursuit, which Wiggins' feels it a tall-orderWink

Saul Raisin's professional cycling career is probably over after Credit Agricole said he can't race for them any more due to the risk of injury if he crashes. That's really sad :cry::cry:

It's not fair to put the blame on his team, CA.

His head (hence his brain) sustained severe injuries during his accident. I've been working in hospital specialised on neurological and neurosurgical cases for 1 year (samtheman knows what I'm talking about in Germany).

It's on thing that he would love to get back into professional cycling and I'm sure his team would love to have him back, too.
However, judging from what I've read about his injuries, there's a realistic chance he might fall into coma again, sustain more severe injuries, or even die next time something happens - helmet or not.

What would it be like for CA or anyone responsible for the decision of letting him ride again, if he died or fell into vigilant coma? How would you justify that decision?

I'd love to see him back on his bike. But If I had have to pick between reading the news about his death in (f.e.) 2010 or knowing he is leading a normal life with his wife, I reckon I'd pick the latter.

Seeing that you're German and I was talking about "Zivildienst" I figured you might get the clue. Then again, it wasn't really obvious what I was talking about.

you're not supposed to eat the vaseline Björn...

I've said it a million times for years, and I'll say it again. Leukemans is an idiot. and not just in the unbelievably stupid tactical decisions he makes.
