I could imagine Froome having his blood bad Tuesday and pulling off a 'Landis'.
I hope no-one will take this post seriously

Pate has allready finished the Vuelta, he came to Madrid a week ago.

Would F1 be any less exciting, to those that like it, if a rule change meant that all the cars went 10 mph slower? They probably wouldn't notice as there would still be racing.
They're already massively slower than they once were. Nobody cares. Like you said, it's the racing that matters, not what speed they go.

Would you rather see someone run the 100m in 9.4 seconds
or 3.4 seconds? high jump 3.5meters or 12meters? long jump 9meters or 15meters? Javelin 95meters or 150meters?
I would.

I would.
Try making a comparison that has a foundation in real life. Try saying "would you see someone run the 100-metres in 9.4 or 9.6". By using your level of comparison you could say "would you want to see Alpe d'Huez be climbed in 20 minutes or 1 minute".

Then definitely 20 minutes. Motors wouldn't be able to follow in 1 minute Only Rodriguez would be able to follow. |

So will today finally see a serene stage for the top 3 with most of the action being in getting in the winning break or will Contador still go for it even on the gentle(ish) rise to the finish?
Wouldn't be surprised to see him try again no matter how tame this appears on paper so hoping for some futile attacks to entertain. |
