Thank you for all the great comments!
Tirreno - Adriatico Stage 1
This years Tirreno starts with an interesting TTT course. We'll see how the riders will cooperate with their teammates, and most likely this will be the deciding factor of the stage. The main favourites are ofc Sky and RNT, but also watch out for BMC, as they have some good TTers.
The swiss team was one of the firsts out and they set a very good time at 21'16! They were the fastest at the checkpoint, and smashed Lotto's time with 27s.
Right after BMC, our team SpiderTech came. We were too much behind at the checkpoint, to have a chance to a good result. In the last part, we tried to minimize our losses, and sat a time of 21'58, which is 42s worse than BMC's. Not a good start for us, but it could be worse.
RNT came close to BMC, but they also got beaten by 7s.
The last team out was the favourite team, Team Sky. They pushed hard, and were leading at the checkpoint, but at the end they started to fade and came in with an initial time of 21'24. That means, that they even RNT overtook them! BMC won the TTT, and put Tejay Van Garderen into a very good positon for the rest of the race.

Thanks guys, you're giving me a real boost to make these reports!
The queen stage of this years Paris - Nice (if we don't take the Col D'Éze TT)! The finish in Mende is very steep and there were some famous winners too, like Laurent Jalabert. Will Sutton be able to beat Chavanel or will someone else take the win?
Today's break was a quite small one with the biggest name being Hoogerland and Urtasun.
While the break was fighting through the hard wind, the peloton was controlled by SpiderTech and Omega Pharma - Quickstep.
At the start of the last climb the break was caught, but some late attackers like Monfort and LLS were leading the peloton. In the peloton Movistar was pacing hard, and our riders were right at the front.
At the middle of the climb, where the climb was the steepest, Movistar's Costa and RNT's Horner started to get away, but all the others were trying to follow. Meanwhile at the back some big names like Nibali, Vandenbroeck and Gesink dropped.
At the 1km mark, Costa is getting a gap over the others, who are trying to come back with a strong sprint. Sutty is there with the favourites, making his jump.
And Rui Costa wins in Mende! He was incredibly strong on the last hill! Horner comes 2nd, LLS is the 3rd and Sutty comes 5th.

@sutty - I was very glad too. The Col D'Éze MITT still suits Gary well, so our chances are good for a top 3.
Spoiler or even more? |

Go Sutton! What a rider. Top 3 would be excellent, but with a mountain time trial coming you never know what's it going to be! |

Thanks for the motivating comments guys! If there's something you'd like to know about a rider, just ask me, and I'll bring you the information.
Tirreno - Adriatico Stage 2
This stage is classified as flat, but the 2 1st category climbs at the start can probably tire out the sprinters. We'll aim for a top 6 place with Bahr, as the best sprinters are there, and Bahr is just a 2nd tier sprinter.
The BotD was a bit weak today for a WT race, as the riders were fairly low ranked.
Probably the weakness of the break was the reason for the peloton to take it slow and the break got a big lead. However, BMC decided to chase hard, as they wanted to keep their leaders jersey. With the help of Team Sky they chased down the break.
As the race was going, the sprint preparations started, and Bahr decided to take the wheel of EBH. The interesting thing is that, Sky made 2 (!) trains, one for Cav, and one for EBH.
At the 1km mark, Cavendish started to sprint from the wheel of Swift, and Hushovd also launched with Bahr on his wheel. At the right side of the road Greipel, Sagan, Goss were coming strong! What a fast finish, but who will be the fastest?
And Thor Hushovd wins stage 2! What an amazing win! He was the strongest at the end, and guess who takes 2nd! Bahr!, what a strong finish from him too, and EBH came 3rd. Cav faded at the end and get 4th.
1 | Thor Hushovd | BMC Racing Team | 5h58'25 | 2 | Christian Bahr | SpiderTech - Cervélo | s.t. | 3 | Edvald Boasson Hagen | Sky Procycling | s.t. | 4 | Mark Cavendish | Sky Procycling | s.t. | 5 | Daniel Oss | Liquigas - Cannondale | s.t. | 6 | Peter Sagan | Liquigas - Cannondale | s.t. | 7 | Óscar Freire | Katusha Team | s.t. | 8 | Sébastien Hinault | AG2R La Mondiale | s.t. | 9 | Matthew Goss | Orica - GreenEdge | s.t. | 10 | Lars Ytting Bak | Lotto Belisol Team | s.t. |

Quite a nice sprint from Bahr, to be beaten only by Hushovd. |

Thank you for the comment, yeah it's quite a bit of a shame that Hushovd was stronger, but next time it might be different.

Thanks Sutty, I was surprised to see Bahr sprinting that fast. |

@sutty,Ian - thank you guys, you're really keeping me motivated.
This stage is quite hilly, so it's ideal for a break. Although the sprinters might want the last chance to a stage - win, so let's see what happened.
Today's break was quite strong, containing Gasparotto, Voigt and Simon Clarke. The peloton was taking it easy on the climbs, and the break got a huge (10min) gap.The break was about to make it to the end, when something TERRIBLE happened.
9 riders, including Boonen and Costa broke away from the peloton, thanks to a split! SpiderTech immediately put all guys to relay, but the gap widened consistently.
Here is the situation with 3kms to go. The break leads and the select group comes very fast from the back. The peloton is way behind, despite the hard work by our team.
While the GC fights were still on the cameras, the break slowly started the sprint, and at the 1km mark Europcar's Vichot was in the lead. Can the frenchman hold onto his lead?
No, because Sky rider Puccio snatches it! An impressive win in the close sprint for the youngster! Vichot gets 2nd, and Clarke is the 3rd! 46 seconds later Boonen and Costa cross the line, and the waiting for the peleton starts. Spilak's group coems at 1'10, and the main pack follows led by Piasecki at 2'15! What a shame!
Costa increases his lead, and Spilak takes the 2nd place, otherwise no changes.
