But as far as I know, the AI team don't have a budget at all, so all you could edit would be the budget of the own team during a running career.

I have a quick question I hope you or some other member can answer.
In the past I had edited 4 riders off my team using the editor. This was over the course of a 16 year career so far. I put them on other teams where I thought they would be useful and have good careers.
I just ran into a problem where despite having 7 or 8 riders assigned to a trainer, that it was showing I had 9 assigned.
I used your editor and looking under the cyclist tab, sure enough the riders I had edited off my team were still showing up under whichever trainer I had for them. (column: fkIDStaff_trainer )
I changed this away from my trainer, and selected the zero drop down option, then Saved and exported to CDB. However the game is still showing my trainers with 9 riders, despite them only having 7. I re extracted the database, and the changes I made were still there, so there must be something else that needs edited?

Edit to ADD: Never mind, I found it. There is a column in the coaches table that has the # of riders he is training. Interesting how this game works, as it appears to either start at a baseline 0 and add and subtract based on what you do in game, or I suspect it counts at the beginning of each year and then adds and subtracts based on what you do in game, with no effect of just editing the cyclist to remove the trainer, or moving him to another team.
I will leave this up in case anyone else has this problem and finds it using search.
