Yeah, me, too, therefore I picked Freire.
I wonder what is worse?
At least Freire is still in the race. My pick for the sprints left the race after 1 stage.

Just to show how hard AndalucÃa (the team, obv) sucks, his rider in the breakaway has done no work in the whole stage, just to be dropped in the first kms of the climb. And Caja Rural not invited. Bleh.

So just 3 riders left for Rabo in the "pack" after that chase: Slagter, Kruijswijk and Mollema.

So has anyone really understood why Rabobank is doing the pacemaking for the Peloton? Are the climbers they have in the Vuelta really good enough for them to be pulling?

With Moreno and Herrada (they have been signed by Movistar) Caja Rural is better than Andalucia CG |

That was the point. AndalucÃa gets invited because the Andalucian government sponsors the Vuelta, while a stronger team doesn't. A shame.

Rabobank have always had strange tactics I think, but yes, they do have good climbers, Mollema and Kruijswijk. I could see them wanting time back after losing a bit yesterday, due to equipment issues or whatever it was.

They will regret not dropping Antón now that they can.

Really boring so far. Why doesn't Katusha or Liquigas set up a terrible pace to drop Anton when they have seen he's in trouble? Wouldn't surprise me if he hits back at them later in the race if they don't drop him here.

Anton likes riding at the back, I don't think he is in trouble

He was dropped yesterday in a 3rd cat. He is in trouble.
Edit: Antón dropped.
