BTW, nice thread. It's lasted. Maybe you could revive it next year when contract talks start again. |

Thanks
I'm actually surprised it's lasted this long, I thought it would have crashed and burned by now.

I'd like to see him go to Europcar, they're looking for a leader at the moment.

I know two guys that could fit that profile- Is 4th in the TDF and the Alpe duex huez winner not good enough?

Rolland and Voeckler are two great leaders, epecially for the Tour and other french races, but Euopcar needs a leader for the Giro, Vuelta, and other international races. |

IF they go World Tour.
They didnt ride the Giro or Vuelta this year, so hardly need a leader for those races.

But didn't they justify that the TDF just picking French team is not all that apllies to them based on results? |

Try writing your posts clearer, Im struggling to work out what that is supposed to say, and how it at all relates to my post that you quoted.

I think he is referring to his belief that the performance of Europcar in the TDF warrants World Tour status. It is highly unlikely that they will be in the World Tour because they are currently ranked #9 in the Pro-Continental standings:

However, seeing as even the World Tour teams don't understand McQuade's points system that he goes by to determine who is in, maybe Europcar may be there....Highly unlikely they or Geox (16th) will be promoted, more likely FDJ and Skill and possible one of Saur, Colnago or Cofidis.
Obviously that's what I meant. But I can see where you come from because I did not know how to word it, and figured that it might be a problem |

Well according to the thread, he shall sign for wither Vaconsoleil or Lotto (Tied votes).
But, unfortunately he signed for Astana.
First wrong prediction in a while.
