Nice job from Thor to hold on, and it is ultimately a good thing for Cadel to not have his team dragging everyone through the crosswinds tomorrow. Less pressure and he can always get that jersey back once the terrain starts to get really steep.

That's just how Gilbert is and why i dislike him. He just selfish. It's not the first time he has screwed team-mate over from a win, and then failing himself. Belgian Championship 2009 anyone?
Not saying VdB would have won, but he would have had a good chance. Also, if Contador/Evans would have chased, he would have had a better shot himself.
