gilbert failed he should have let vandenbroeck take a gap
evans and contadort were looking to each other ... and then gilbert closes the gap but just sit there and do nothing :m

Nice job from Thor to hold on, and it is ultimately a good thing for Cadel to not have his team dragging everyone through the crosswinds tomorrow. Less pressure and he can always get that jersey back once the terrain starts to get really steep.

Too bad for Gilbert, but Thor, Wow. Never thought he had it in him
prevent hangovers --> stay drunk
pozzato, basically the most stupid cyclist around

RIP WW. Gone but not forgotten

Odd tactics by Gilbert.
Evans is absolutely on fire! I wonder if he can keep this shape till Paris.
Hushovd how the hell he managed to close the gap to this group... pace was pathetic with 2km to go

When yu see that top 10 list, you start to wonder how the hell Thor Hushovd can be a part of it Pfft Great job, and i'm looking forward to see Thor in yellow the rest of the week Grin

Maybe Gilbert really want to get a stage win for his birthday.

I wonder if Evans can contest green jersey competition

That's just how Gilbert is and why i dislike him. He just selfish. It's not the first time he has screwed team-mate over from a win, and then failing himself. Belgian Championship 2009 anyone?

Not saying VdB would have won, but he would have had a good chance. Also, if Contador/Evans would have chased, he would have had a better shot himself.
