The Giro is amazing enough. I could live without Menchov there, he's more needed at the Vuelta. And they have a spot secured here. |

Fair enough, but Menchov would be possibly Andy's biggest threat, so missing out on him is fairly disappointing.
Especially as Saxobank, Lampre and BMC get invites, I was hoping that the tour would break the rules to replace one of them with Geox
when has been Menchov any threat for anyone at tour de france? Somehow tour is not race for him.
Ofcorse that is no reason to keep him out..
Sastre is also nice rider to have in peloton..he's best days are over |

Well, when the Giro comes around, the team is gone. Geox is not going to accept this.
Menchov to Saxo Bank? |

Well, if we don't count Contador in, he'll be the biggest threat to Andy imo
He ended 3, one place behind Andy. Argumentation enough, i guess. |

I don't think he'll accept being paid in hugs.

If Contador gets a 2-year-ban, Riis can just as well rip his contract to pieces and sign Menchov as his replacement. Without Contador's salary, there's room for Menchov's. |

No Androni at the Tirreno either.
This is not good. I want Rujano, damn it.

Sastre in an interview after the decision:
“Of course I would like to go to the Tour de France but if I’m not allowed then I’ll be free in July for the first time in 10 years.”
"No, I don’t have any reason to leave my team. We will race in the Giro d’Italia, which is a really important, like the Vuelta, which is also important and something we can do. There are many more other races”
Either he knows more than us or he is also just hoping for a sure Wildcard in the other 2 GT`s. |

Menchov should be in the Tour. If Contador is out he may be the only real challenger to Andy Schleck.

As I said earlier, I don't see Geox wanting to stay in cycling, now they are not invited to the Tour. They were quite angry with not getting the ProTeam license. Gianetti calmed them down, saying "don't worry, friends, we'll get in the Tour anyway". They didn't, and here we are.
And even if Geox stays, isn't there a chance that Menchov has some sort of TdF or ProTeam-clause in his contract?
I'm hopeful that we'll get to see Menchov in the Tour. |

No Androni at Tirreno ? I thought that seeing Androni and Acqua & Sapone in Tirreno is a default thing.
And my main man Rujano wont be very happy when carrier pigeon will bring this news to Venezuela. |

Obviously it was as long as Scarponi was fighting for the overall. |

I wonder how Menchov will feel. He had the chance to go to Katusha as well. |

I don't care for White. He once tested positive. He got away on a technicality. He tries to hide that from the public.
I don't care for that.
