My thoughts on the Tourmalet:
The same as I posted 3 weeks ago. Schleck hasn't peaked for anything all season, he's fresh as a cucumber, while Contador has peaked 3 times so far this season and is clearly very tired, even having trouble dropping people he usually destroys. So Schleck will probably win the stage.
Contador will still win the Tour, though. Schleck can't TT. Even with this Tour's ridiculously few TT kms, it still won't be few enough for Schleck.
Contador has a ridiculously strong team thoug.
one Schleck atack and this team is gone..Maybe just Vino left..he is Vino he does not count. |

So did O'Grady and Cancellara have the best rest day ever? (Bloodtransfusions anyone?)
Ehm, what? Because they are still in the huge peloton? O'Grady was riding really well the day before the rest day as well. |

Big respect for Sastre, even for just making this attempt. |

It is still insane though. But he didn't have a chance if he didn't try. |

I think its a pretyy borring stage again. like whole tour is borring.
No tactic, no stategie, even the tour with lance as absolute the best where more fun to watch. |

Schleck'll win the stage, though it wont be enough to win the tour - damn the TT

When Lance (with US Postal) ruled the tour, no one attacked. Was that better? Dont think so

I think it has been quite a good Tour.
Every time I watch the Tour I get a little bit less interested because I remember times being better when I started watching it, but come to mind, it was probably about the same, and eventhough I think most stages are boring I still sit on my toes infront of the TV.

It was far better, and he never stayed untill the end to the group. Lance even atacked in his yellow jersey. And nobody was close to him. schleck is only 8 sec behind, big mouth and wait till last 2 km. then he hope others brake a legg to gain more then 2min. And Rabo Ooooo my god. But i have to admit. the stages are also super borring.
Big climb stages with last 60km downhill and flat. And this one is not much better |
