Did Hushovd crash after the intermidate sprint?
He won the first intermediate sprint of the day.
I know, but did he crash? I heard he was back in the doctor car afterwards?

It will be good if the Gesink/Menchov group catch Sanchez and eventually catch Andy and Contador on the decent. |

He crashed yes, and then was feeling ill. I imagine he is in a autobus of some kind, we'll see when he finishes the stage I guess

He was seeing the doctor about what is possibly a stomach virus. |

damn jens wont survive until decent
Contador has an interesting dilemma:
1) Accept that the pace slows at the top of the climb, and then ride the Jens-train down to the finish (13k or so left of flat after the descent).
2) Distance Jens now, gain some time, but then be forced to lead down the descent and share work for the flat afterward.
Seems like he's going for 1.
I'd say theres more of a dilemna for Schleck. Stick with Voigt for greater help in the descent albeit accepting no gains on Contador - or try to attack Contador, given that he needs more time over him.
Nah, both Andy and Contador are saying all the right things about "it's the Pyrenees that matter, we're saving some energy." So Andy would wait for Jens to carry him as far as possible now, especially because of the long gap from the top of the mountain to the end.
Oh, and by the way, we got our answer: Contador tries to hop the Jens train, realizes that unfortunately Jens will come a km short of the top, and loses the opportunity to gain time on the climb.
Jens blowing means a loss for both Andy and Contador. |

Charteau does well too... Lost 1,5 kg this season, helps him climbing better.
Monier is surprising too. Waiting to get Watts figure though, to see if the Frenchies have improved or if it's the general level that has regressed to allow this. |

So...who wil fall first, Gesink or Menchov?
I hope they don't crash, they're going fairly well.

Dr Porte told to Fr Eurosport Hushovd didn't fall but suffered a stomach problem. |

Not to mention Levi, who is a fantastically terrible descender... |
