A Danish newspaper had an interview with Kim Andersen and Bjarne Riis yesterday - the quotes I've read from it indicate that that there's not a new sponsor to present.
Kim Andersen, when asked whether he will still be on the team after the Tour:
"I've no idea. I have a pretty good name in the sport. I believe that there's plenty of options for me, and it's no secret that I have a close relationship with Andy and Frank, so I'm calm"
Translated: I don't need Saxo Bank, and I don't believe that it'll continue
Riis, when asked whether he and his team will be around after the Tour:
"I don't know. I can't guarantee it. But no one knows the future right now"
In general, much less optimistic than it used to be. |

Marc de Maar is now racing under a Dutch Antilles license.
The UCI granted permission for this. De Maar's goal is to ride the worlds and qualify himself for the Olympic games of 2012.
The idea started as a joke as his dad has a house on the Antilles, but after a while it became a serious idea and now he went through with it.
De Maar has already gathered some points for the Continental ranking through the Tour of California (13th), the Chrono Gatineau (5th) and the Tour de Beauce (2 stage wins and 3rd).
The funny thing is, if De Maar alone continues to score points, the Dutch Antilles can send 3 riders according to the UCI rules |

The Netherlands Antilles are scheduled to be dissolved as a unified political entity on October 10, 2010, so that the five constituent islands will attain new constitutional statuses within the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
So, does this change his plans?

No, he will just ride for Curaçao ..
It stays the same.
Is it that hard to understand?
It was part of Dutch Antilles -> part of holland like scotland is of Great-Britain
Now the Dutch antilles will cease to excist and the islands themselves will be like Scotland, Wales and N-Ireland are to Great-Britain

But England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland dont compete at the Worlds or Olympics individually.
Although if Curacao is becoming like Aruba, then that should be ok - Aruba did compete at the 2008 Olympics after all.

That's already been denied by Ceramica Flaminia's manager, and rumours talk about Astana and Caisse too. We'll see, but it wouldn't surprise me. |

Yeah, it's like Aruba.
You got to see it like this, they are all sovereign states instead of competing as Dutch antilles.
They won't suddenly all become part of 'Netherlands' again. |

Calm down, I don't know the ins and outs of Dutch territories. I just remembered hearing something about it.
Geez.
Anyway, here's a fun read about Mr. McQuaid and the missing reciepts

I'm surprised nobody's mentioned the great news.
FDJ have extended sponsorship until 2014.

And they also mentioned a possibility of getting a bigger budget via secondary sponsors.
