I'd never heard of the guy

... and Contador
Which is very bad news. I really don't want Contador at Caisse.

Beppu is a strong domestique, but I am surprised they picked up Li again. Didn't ever seem to do anything.
"China's Fuyu Li was also announced as part of the RadioShack roster on Monday. Li and Beppu rode alongside one another at Discovery in 2007.
RadioShack's bicycle sponsor Trek was particularly keen to see the two riders signed to the team because of their potential appeal within the Asian marketplace."

Li is just so good. Especially in time trials. Back in the Eindhoven TTT in 2007 the other 7 Discovery guys were ordered to take pulls while Li was told to stay at the back on their wheels.
He lasted less than 5 kms before being dropped.
And he has potential, too. He's 31, so his career has barely begun.
This signing clearly has nothing to do with the sponsors.

Li is not a bad time trialer. He finished 2nd in the Tour of Qinghai Lake prologue this year.

As if Contentpolis didn't have enough problems, neo-pro Pedro Vera was arrested yesterday during the anti-doping raids.

Quite logical. He's one of Spain's top athletes, but Spain sucks in athletics, so he isn't too famous. Still a big name of Spanish sport.
There's also Javier Otxoa, who rode for Kelme and won a mountain stage in the TdF 2000. |

It should be noted that all this was started by Manzano.
Manzano named this doctor which led to this investigation, he named Fuentes which led to the Puerto scandal and he named Del Moral the doctor of the US Postal and Discovery Channel team.
Where's the investigation on Del Moral?
Right...

Astana, Caisse d’Epargne, Euskaltel-Euskadi, Saxo Bank and Team Sky all got the ProTour licence. Team Sky got it to 2013.
Lampre Farnese Vini did however NOT get a licence |

According to the cyclingnews story, they seem to be just late with some of the paperwork. |

How do you know the organisers design a course made for a rider of their choice?
Well the TDU organiser has explicity said McEwen is the favourite for next years TDU.
Here's an idea... keep that bit quiet. ok?

A shame theyre not making it harder in any way (as that statement would imply), but McEwen wont win regardless.
