More evidence that LL Sánchez is one. On the day that Paris-Nice finished, Losa received the following text message: "Well done. Your friend won Paris-Nice today. He was like a champion".
Thats why you should never mix business and pleasure.

Reminds me of a text message Fuentes got on the day Ullrich won the Pontedera Time Trial at the Giro: "Your boy won today" or something.

These people must be morons! If I was a Doctor involved in malpractice, the one thing I wouldn't do is TELL ANYONE!!! That way I wouldn't get incriminating phone calls or text messages!
Anyway, on the subject of doping, it looks like Andre Agassi is in the ATP's bad books! When is anyone going to learn that drugs are in all sports, and its just that most governing bodies don't do anything about it!

So, time to 'flame' another site than Cyclingnews.com. VeloNews has astory about Footon sponsoring the team formerly known as Fuji-Servetto. And apparently, Footon is Danish: "The arrival of Footon – a Danish foot-bed company – gives the team a more solid financial footing as it moves toward the 2010 season."
Swiss, Danish ... what's the difference, really? |

"Eight-time grand slam winner Andre Agassi has admitted in a new book that he lied to tennis authorities about his use of crystal methamphetamine in order to escape a ban."
Another example of double-standards.

Today's surprising news?
1. Sastre will not ride Tour de France. Instead, he'll be focusing on the Giro and the Vuelta.
2. Fuentes has recovered damages for 600.000 €. He was never actually convicted for anything, so... |

I really like Sastres decision. The Giro route is epic and i hope all the top climbers would be there (cry, why can't the Schlecks ride it, damn). Really curious about Vuelta route, hope it fits Sastre, he really needs to win it for a change.

Yeah me too.
I'm getting a bit fed up with the Schlecks though and their: "The Tour is the only Grand Tour worth any effort".

He hasn't actually said that, he said he wasn't sure and and that he would wait until the Vuelta route was presented to decide.

The first one isn't really surprising at all to me. Makes perfect sense. And as been pointed out, he'll only make a final decision after the Vuelta presentation in mid-december.
The second one has nothing to do with him not being convicted. The case is still ongoing, this decision is a separate one. He'll be paid 600.000 that the team's sponsor still owes him for his services as a doctor from 2003 to 2006.

It doesn't surprise me. They seem to have that kind of a snob and superior attitude towards most things.

Do you imagine a clean super-team? Ivano Fanini does, and now has an Arabian "friend" with the money to make it possible. I hope that he'll be able to do it, it'd be a pleasure to watch a team with clean superstars.
I wonder which riders would accept to ride for such a team though. |

That's BIG news.
Fanini is pretty much the most trustworthy and outspoken anti-doping person out there. And he's a team manager/owner!
This is very good
let's hope it goes well

Remember how by danish law if you get another country's nationality you lose danish nationality?
Linda Villumsen is no longer danish. That's their only decent female rider gone, then
