Maybe that's not ride good enough to win the Giro, but surely enough to stay in top3. Impressive by Arroyo!
Still, even for win it gonna be very close, maybe it'll decide in Verona... Exciting Giro!

No..no..no. He will be happy to keep pink today.. But he will loose it tomorrow for shure
Arroyo got to Vino, by the time I'm done with this post, he probably already passed him. |

Surely makes sense to stick with him.

Arroyo is riding away from Vino. Wont be long till he joins Basso, Nibali and Scarponi. Maglia Rosa do give you wings.

Question is whether he has any energy left for the final climb. |

Your right. I'm hoping Basso will gain some more time so it will be exciting till the last seconds on the TT.
Edit: I forgot about tomorrows crazy mountain stage..

Arroyo waits for Vino. Very smart.

The question is also a matter of pacing on the final climb. If Basso, Nibali, and Scarponi set in at a steady tempo for 13k, they'll add more time to their gap. If they start the first km too fast (or, god forbid, attack each other), and Arroyo gets the right pace, he may stay within a minute by the end. |

I think Arroyo better not lose alot today if he wants a chance at all to win the Giro, tommorow has a tougher climb in the end. I wonder how much time Basso can earn on the last TT. |

It's only smart if Vino didn't waste himself on the Motirolo. Note that he's only caught up 10 seconds on the descent with Basso's ineptitude. |

Apparently, Arroyo also wanted to wait for those behind him and Vino. |

You have to take the risk though, or you'll never know.
