That's really cool. I'm starting to think I'm finally going to get that 3 pay-per-view sports channels package we get here. They show a bucketload of football.

Great opportunity there, if only Altidore had run through the pass. Good chance with the scissor though. |

Where's spain's midfield? They're giving the defense zero support. The US can do whatever they want in front of the back four, they have all the time in the world.
Me rikey

The US can't possibly hold up this high pressing game for the entire 90 mins. They're going to have to let up, or they'll break down completely in the second half.

The US has a lot of experience building up teams with great stamina, across all sports. Not to mention that the European seasons ended almost a month ago, and although I'm sure they've been training I doubt they are in as good form as the Americans, many of whom are in the middle of the MLS season.

I can only see one guy there who's actually playing in the MLS.
EDIT: no, I didn't.....was the misspelling on purpose?

GOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAL, Altidore is like Sean Taylor, a Meast (half man, half beast)
Also isso, I count at least three guys (Altidore, Donovan, and Clark) and I'm sure there are others

Donovan played an MLS season, followed by half a european season and now MLS again. He's kinda spent. So he doesn't really count toward your argument.
And Altidore plays in Spain.
Clark is the guy I'm mentioning. He's the only one.

Just tuned the game back on. I cannot believe this, ten minutes to go. If the US can hold on it will be one of the biggest wins in US soccer history.
For those with no way to watch the game:
2 US - 0 Spain, 82 min
