Eneco Tour Stage 7
Again a hard day in the saddle with that awfull weather.
When everyone was preparing for the mass sprint the wind split the pack into 2.
The good news is all our four important riders maintain theirselves at the front of the first pack
With 5km to go Cancellara, who was caught in the second group, made an excelent job to make again a big group in front
Though that didn't stop Ignatiev taking the first position before the sprint. Also Rogers is still there
The wind is really playing for us today. All our four riders Boom, Ignatiev, Eisel and Rogers almost got away from the pack
Ignatiev seems to be on of the only riders to enjoy today's weather as even his team-mate have dificulties to took over him
But right in the last corner Eisel manages to take the lead. At the moment Team Columbia has the first 4 positions in the race.
Eisel wins! Finally we got a win here. It's a double for Columbia with Ignatiev 2nd! Boom's 5th place and Rogers' 7th place completed our good day.

Wiggins was the leader for a long time today.
Devolder was pretty good today. Too bad he lost lot of time in a flat stage
What could have been a great day for Boom turned to be a worse day for the Dutch talent.
Rogers is trying to get today the best place he can in the final overall rankings
Once again Ignatiev couldn't make a goot time-trial and he lost places though that on paper he should have won places
Dekker could have a good chance today to take the win
But Cancellara beat him and won both the stage and the overall standings

Vuelta a Espana Stage 1
The escapes that went together after the only climb of the day . But they have no chance as this is obvious a stage for the sprinters.
Burghardt, Ciolek and Cavendish are trying to make their way through
Helped a little bit by a friendly wind Burghardt manages to get us in front
And we are still there when the sprint starts
Ciolek is now leading for Cavendish perfectly. Cooke, Hunter and Steegmans, our main opponents at the moment, are really behind
Cavendish make his move, taking over Ciolek for the first place and this looks like a double for Columbia.
And it is a double, perfect start! And like in was in Le Tour, we won't have time bonifications in Vuelta as well.

yeah Sanchez had really great results in this carrer. But I can't say really the same about Franco Pellizotti as he attacks on climbs for the KoM jerseys and loses energy for the end of the stages. |

Deutschland Tour Stage 1
2 German teams and one from Austria send their riders in the breakaway. All 3 are Germans so pretty much local riders.
Ignatiev does an amazing job leting our opponents behind for the final mass sprint
Then it's Hagen turn to do his job. And he puts Eisel in a perfect position, but now the ex-Austrian champion has to do something as Freire is starting to get speed
Last corner... Eisel in front. Hagen is still near while Freire is in the thid position coming really fast
This is going to be really close as Freire caught Eisel...
And it is close indeed... But who the hell won!? ...
Oh a Rabo riders is on the podium to take the trophy so I guess Freire is the winner. damn.

Only one escape today. A guy Herrero, from Extremadura
Our sprint guys got back on the downhill the energy they had lost on the small hill with 10km to go.
Burghardt is doing a great job, being in the first position of the pack. The only train that can keep it with us is Gerolsteiner, still really behind from us.
Ciolek and Cavendish are now in front in their distinctive jerseys
Still no real threat from behind
Ciolek realizes that this is going to end good for him anc Cavendish and raises his hands in sign of victory
Cavendish gets the stage again with Ciolek after him! Can anyone stop the 2 Columbia sprinters in this edition of the Vuelta? I doubt...

Deutschland Tour Stage 2
Rabobank is the new of the curent yellow jersey, Oscar Freire, and the guy who has the most chances to end the Tour with the yellow jersey on his shoulders. Rabobank hade one of the best time today
Our second speciality, after the sprints, are the time-trials. And the team for Tour of Germany is build for that with Zabriskie, Rogers or Grabsch. Only Eisel seems to have a weackness in the time-trials but we managed to get the win.
