And it's confirmed.
Thanks to CrueTrue for retweeting it, otherwise I wouldn't have noticed.

The Cav move was expected, it was the right move for him to do Professionally. |

Definitely. He'll get a lot of support in OPQS, and they will go for Green at the Tour, without a doubt. Looking forward to Sagan <-> Cavendish in the battle for green. |

Any news on where Vanmarcke is going for 2013? Is Rabo still the most likely destination?

I like Cav at Omega. At least, he won't be a helper instead of a leader. |

No, Vanmarcke signed for Rabobank, I'm 90% sure of that...

Haven't Argos already confirmed that Degenkolb will be going to the Tour next year as well?
Degenkolb is nowhere as fast as Kittel though so flats are for him. Should be great - leadout and get opportunities on hillier finishes + when Kittel doesnt feel good + breaks. Basically kind of EBH role did at this Tour for Cav ( replace with Kittel ), but with no need to defend yellow = meaning more opportunities for Deg.
Last year Renshaw and Cav got seperated, and it seems Sky separated Cav from Eisel this year too. Good feat for Sky tbh keeping Eisel.
Tbh I look forward a lot to more independent Eisel
You take it for granted that Eisel won't ride for Cavendish when they're not on the same team. We've seen before that's not something you can count on
*cough* Tiralongo *cough*
I am happy about Cav moving though. Smart decision by all parties. |
