Arroyo almost with Evans. Wonderful, intelligent riding for him. It has to be really hard to just let everyone go at the beginning of the climb when you're the Maglia Rosa, but it really paid off for him and they came back to him (or at least, as much as they could have, given the talent difference) by the top.
What an excellent job of defending the jersey. |

It's hard to compare. I'd put Nibali ahead, but not by much. Anyway, Arroyo should gain, since Basso is pretty awful

This is a great effort by Arroyo. Rode intelligently; didn't blow up.
