And Ignatiev's career continues to go on a very fast and direct course towards the gutter.
Now he can't even beat Dario Andriotto in a time trial.
Katusha has a amazing Giro..
..even Tonkoff was much better..at least on every day in breakaway. Katusha..nothing. |

You can't claim someones career is going towards the gutter based on one year of good riding, and then two weak. It was more that he was outstanding one year, and just back to normal now...
I really don't think TT specialists will be doing all that well on this course.
Try one amazing month of February followed by 6 reasonable months, continued mediocrity....and counting
No, TT specialists won't be doing that well. But being beaten by a very crappy sprinter who can't time trial to save his life? ouch.

Amazingly, Zabriskie's managed to do about 3 minutes worse...

Zabriskie's time trial skills have just gotten worse from year to year. Alledgely, because of his focus on doing better in mountains ...
Oh well, the guy's still funny |

Anyhow, I don't think Di Lucca will keep the jersey after today's stage.

I think he'll lose it by half a minute at most

Look at his time at the intermediate after that. It's a mistake, clearly.

This stage will be exciting. Looking at intermediate gaps, it's clear the most important part is the second climb, so, effectively, TT skills aren't very important today.

Gatto will be DQ'd if the leaders go under 1:29.51 which looks just about feasable, Cavendish gone at 1:26,24

Where are you guys looking the whole times? I can only see the 10 best intermediate and final times. Thanks.
And another thing: aren't officers punishing drafting? I see a lot of small groups of riders arriving together.
