Oh please did you see him in th spring? Total a spring person! Like in Paris-Nice. If he hadn't crashed three times(!) in one stage, then he would probably win Paris-Nice

That is not true. He crashed on the stage to Nice, which was the second last one. By that time, he was third in GC, with Wiggins leading.
There's absolutely no way he would've beaten Wiggins by 10 seconds in the final time trial.

That could well be! His TT abilties is also very good and the climbing abilities is also almost as good... It would only have been a question of freshness!

Well, if that's what you think there's no point in arguing.
I simply find it ridiculous to believe that he'd beat a Wiggins in top form in his speciality. Wiggins is a better climber and a far better timetriallist.

Pellizotti is correct on this one and he would not have won Paris-Nice, Wiggins had hime well and truely covered just like Wiggins pretty much had everybody well and truely covered this season. Also Leipheimer hasn't performed and is well past his best, it is just a straight up fact and it is no shock that they sacked him.

Some nice Belgian rivalry we'll have in the sprints at next year's Tour. Too bad the winner is quite obvious.

Haven't Argos already confirmed that Degenkolb will be going to the Tour next year as well? |

Degenkolb is nowhere as fast as Kittel though so flats are for him. Should be great - leadout and get opportunities on hillier finishes + when Kittel doesnt feel good + breaks. Basically kind of EBH role did at this Tour for Cav ( replace with Kittel ), but with no need to defend yellow = meaning more opportunities for Deg.
Last year Renshaw and Cav got seperated, and it seems Sky separated Cav from Eisel this year too. Good feat for Sky tbh keeping Eisel.
Tbh I look forward a lot to more independent Eisel

I think it will be Boonen kicking ass in the cobbles and Cav in the sprints. Omega has got an amazing team to keep their winning streak! |

You take it for granted that Eisel won't ride for Cavendish when they're not on the same team. We've seen before that's not something you can count on |
