Your completely missing the point of my post. Holland deserved the win, that's not what it's not about. it's the way how they won that concerns me and give me doubts towards the final ...
Well. Almost everyone in Holland would agree with you I think. We are aware that we have to play better than that.

Netherlands wasn't as dominating as Ruben tends to think - but yeah, I guess it was deserved. Holland still doesn't look nearly as good as neither Spain nor Germany, though. Instead, they have amazing luck.
You can't call this amazing luck. We play like Italy: bad, but we have so much class that we win.
However, I'm really disappointed in the Dutch play. I haven't seen an attractive match yet. I think if the final will be against Spain we will loose, but we will win against Germany. |

Amazing luck is indeed a disqualification which simply is not true.
25 games unbeaten, 16 games win streak in world cup (+qualifiers matches)
sure, all amazing luck.

Oh and btw Kami, you are soooooooooooooooooooo off when you think, we really thought "yes brazil"
I can assure you most of us were afraid of Brazil.
Such nonsense talk can only come from a narrowminded Belgian who has this super sterotypical view of 'arrogant dutchies'

It's not called luck. It's called Robben, Kuyt and Sneijder (I'd add Van Persie, but he's clearly far from his best). Had the Netherlands a better creative MC, and they'd be a super-team. |

Ruben, really. First of all, when Belgium isn't there (which is actually most of the time), i'm rooting for Holland and Germany. I am far from narrowminded, and i do believe there are indeed Dutchies who were afraid of Brazil.
But the overconfidence of the Dutch and their 'self-proclaiming' victory of the world cup even before the WC started, is leaning towards the arrogant.
And about the thing you deleted from your post. You are just going to far. Your probably one of the most realistic and open people on this forum, but your chauvinism influences you to much. Hell, i got my wright to say my opinion and you have to break down that what looks the most logical because it doesn't favor Holland?

But this is the entire point of my post

NOBODY THINKS THIS SERIOUSLY. Only Derksen and Van der Gijp joke about that.
It's you guys who fail to see the humor in it all. And take everything so goddamn seriously.
Fail.
Why do you think the people are so incredible happy here after each win.
Because in their hearts, they know it's difficult and against some countries almost impssible to win.
If they were really over-confident or arrogant they wouldn't party afterwards, then it would just be expected wins.
The country where that happens is Brazil.

I have to agree with Kami. All you hear and see about the dutch people is how arrogant they were up to and are in the World Cup. Their arrogance is really misplaced because they didn't play well in any match yet. You can't say nobody thinks that, because the expectations in Holland were that they would win the cup easily. It's about to happen. The problem is just that it's not fair. This makes me hate Holland. |

That's all good and well and i can accept that of the 'jokes'. But instead of being happy like you said, why have you rub it in to the ppl who are argueing against Holland?
K, some people here are overacting with saying Holland sucks. I don't think this, but Hollands doesn't play at the lvl it should.
Do you actually realize you are scolding at ppl here for saying their opinion about Holland? My own opinion wasn't even breaking down Holland, and could have been said by someone Dutch itself, yet you called me narrowminded, a loser, and told me i'm failing.

Well if van marwijk add van de vaart to the team and take off De jong. Then they have a much more creative midfield

I can feel your anger .
But hey, let's talk seriously. We are so good we will easily win that final. |

Likkivi you're writing bullshit and you know it.
Yes we were confident about doing a good World Cup before the start. But nobody said we will win this easy.
You can hate Holland if you want, but don't write bullshit on this forum.

Funny Netherlands. They had to leave the Hilton Hotel in Johannesbourg because it`s fully booked. The Dutch soccer union never thought that they`ll reach the semi-final, so they didn`t book for the final. An extension wasn`t possible.
A little bit more confidence in your team
Imo this is a bit amateuristic.
How big though is the contrast of this with the alleged arrogance that the Dutch thought they win easily according to Kami and Likkivi? That, is funny. |

A spectator just ran on the pitch. He was quickly caught though. |

Wow. Spain is really good at wasting time just passing back and forward between the defenders. As always. Can't they attack and try to take a risk for once in this WC? Oh god... |

A Holland - Spain final would be great, but first Spain needs to beat Poland/Turkey/Germany/etc

It's true. There were several TV sessions about the expectations in especially Holland before the World Cup. All dutch people doing interviews acted arrogant and overconfident. It's just the culture. |

At least Germany performed well. Spain and Holland played like scared kids. |
