As always Michael Barry can sum it all up eloquently

I completely, and utterly, take back all previous statements in regards to the Milan circuit. Fair play to Mr Barry, because he can write very, very well. It is easy as a spectator to just assume, as he said, that the cyclists are just being lazy, but the hard question to ask would have been if I would have liked to cycle over tram lines at 30mph, and the answer is most definately no.
Thanks for the link Levi.

We are, of course, ignoring the riders who have been taking it "easy" for the past few days. Riders like Ignatiev (U23 world TT champ), Wiggins, Millar, etc

I read it. It's a long text, yet only 6 lines of text are used to argument pro the protest. And one of those just six lines is a lie: "On Sunday, in Milan, the peloton uniformly decided the course was too dangerous for a race"
... not really.
Anyway, it's Thursday!

Astana hype..
Lance Armstrong (Astana): "The Giro TT is wicked hard. Never, ever flat and 62 kilometres. I'm doubtful for riding the TT bike as well. And the descents? Insane."
He is good descender why he hates them so much?

Hope he'll finally be able to gain some form for the Tour later.
He's really having a bad year so far...

Lance has not, at any point since his return, truly descended. On Tuesday he was sitting at the back the entire time, following other riders' lines. I'm beginning to wonder if he lost his descending touch during his hiatus. |

Yes, Armstrong did take a lead on the downhill and he and Di Luca made a small gap, but it was just to set the pace up. |
