Uruguay can't complain, it could've been 4-1 or 5-1 easily.
The difference in class was so clearly visible in the second half, I really don't understand why they always want to score in the most impossible ways. Just shoot the ball in the damn goal already, idiots.
But ok, more honourfull for Uruguay to go out 3-2 then 4-1 or 5-1, that would've been a bit shameful. |

Netherlands wasn't as dominating as Ruben tends to think - but yeah, I guess it was deserved. Holland still doesn't look nearly as good as neither Spain nor Germany, though. Instead, they have amazing luck. |

Then they should have and if they play like that against either Spain or especially Germany then they won't stand a change. 2 of the 3 goals they scored were more or less luck. And the pure chances that should have gone in, didn't. (Van Bronkborst his goal looked nice and was nice, but 9 out of 10 these sort of shorts are completely off. Sneijder his goal wouldn't have gone in if the defender hadn't touched the ball. And if Van Persie would have touched it, then offside, so more or less luck here to.)
And that's against Uruguay. They aren't a bad team, but Spain and Germany are better then Uruguay. If they play like this against Germany or Spain, they won't make it. Germany has a very good defense and hardly any balls get trough. And if you compare play styles, the Dutch defense looks weak against a team like Germany (Distance shots, quick counters, passing to the other side of the field, going both at the flanks and middle good, ...).

That's what you people say the whole world cup.
But you don't have to be the better team to win a football match. Didn't the Netherlands-Brazil show that?
Or what about WC 1974 and 1978? Netherlands clearly the best team, both times they don't win the final.
You can't count on Germany or Spain to win the world cup because they played better football.
Every match starts at 0-0 and can go in either way.
So don't put your eggs in 1 basket just yet. |

the netherlands didn't play as good as Germany or Spain but, is doesn't matter because they win... and in the final we have a change doesn't matter how bad we play, aslong we win.. although i think Germany takes the world cup

I would sign Germany`s win immediatelly like most of you forecast 
Unfortunately I am not that optimistic. I guess they have a really good chance. But Netherland or Spain will probably play better agains Germany than against Uruguay/Paraguay and both teams are always able to make a goal.
Plus Germany is a really young team so I am a bit worried about their nerves if they really reach the final. How can they handle the pressure if they recognize they can write history.
So hopefully Germany will win this WC, it would be really deserved and one of the hardest ways to the final. (England, Argentinia, Spain, Netherlands)
But with our team we have also great chances in next 10 years.

Funny Netherlands. They had to leave the Hilton Hotel in Johannesbourg because it`s fully booked. The Dutch soccer union never thought that they`ll reach the semi-final, so they didn`t book for the final. An extension wasn`t possible.

This is football it has no sense to talk about what usually happens, it was a great goal, from a weak Holland in the first half. But they played with Uruguay all the second one. Holland football proposal is much better than Uruguay´s one so I am happy that they are in the final. Also Holland is the only team which had won every single game... which is not so easy!!!
My only hope for tonight is that Germany does not score in the first 30 minutes, then maybe we will have a match. But if they do like against Argentinian scoring so early is going to be hard for Spain!!!

The winner of a football match is: the one who has more goals after 90 minutes. If you guys want to rely on goals that would miss 9/10 times, then fine, so be it. Yes, ofcourse they played better in the second half, that wasn't hard to see. But if they then only managed 3-2, that's sad, and that's the point i'm trying to make. This won't be the case against either Spain or Germany, although i recon they will have a better shot against Spain.
Yes, a football match is unpredictable (Swizz-Germany, Neth.-Brazil, ...). But then again, favorites do win most of the time.
And why is it so hard for Dutch ppl to just accept the most logic case? Belgium got drawn against Brazil in the WC 2002. We were like: 'Fuck'
Probably you guys were like: 'Fuck yea, Netherlands 5 - Brazil 0!!!!!! HOLLLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAND!' Or something close to it. It's just a fn game, rly. 60% of Holland took free from work to watch Holland-Brazil. Belgium taped their match in 2002 because they had to work ...
