Damn it. I was hoping Pozzato would go quietly off into the night. |

Palini is a superb signing. Lots of good results in one day races this year, and still quite young.

Two excellent signings for Lampre. Palini can develop into a really good rider and Pozzato is there for the cobbles races. |

It's only a matter of time before a ban due to Bertagnolli's affidavit, surely. |

Lampre has no team to support Pipo in the cobble races. At Farnese he had guys like Hulsmans. |

Jan Polanc signs for Lampre from Radenska (Slovenian Continental team... apparently). He won the Piccolo Giro di Lombardia and came 12th in the U23 Worlds. From his results he seems to have a fair bit of talent in the hills.

I only found out about it because I was googling him because I swear that he rides cyclocross and I was going to mention it in my transfer rumours post that I was writing for the Man Game... and then I happened to stumble on to that.
Note: He does not ride cyclocross, but I think I got that idea from his high cobble stat in the man game That game influences my life in weird ways...

The Man-Game made me believe Kangarid Naran was the next Merckx. I agree wholeheartedly. |

Not exactly a transfer, but Mickaël Buffaz (Cofidis) will retire after the Tour de Vendée tomorrow.
Not exactly a transfer either, but Sébastien Joly will come back... as a DS for Europcar. He retired from pro cycling one year ago.

Amets Txurruka and David Arroyo join Caja Rural. I am very pleased by this, think they're some excellent signings and look forward to watching them in action! |

Really? Wow. I like them both, and I guess Caja Rural have signed themselves two fairly good riders, if Txurruka can keep his attacking ways strong and Arroyo can find his feet again.

That's huge for Caja Rural, who should now be able to field a very nice team for the Vuelta.

No surprises with the Caja Rural signings, but very good one's.
If nothing else, they'll be the most entertaining team in the mountains next year. Lot of guys who like to attack. |

Not really notable transfer news but Monier (Cofidis) and Rousseau (Auber 93) retire from professional cycling. |
