Garmin - End of 3rd Season - Continue in PCM11
CountArach
You're setting yourself up as a team that could perform very well in TTT situations with domestiques like that.

Great signings! I like that you keep it realistic, with young american TT-riders.

+ 1. As always, nice transfers so far! Barton should be a good addition to your helpers.

Buying some nice domestiques from BMC, Andy Riihs will hate you! Haha... Hope you do well in the mountain stages. I think you'll end up at place 7... ;-)

That's very well for L.L.S.

Succes!

Thanks all.
I tried to make the signings as possible as possible. Garmin and TTT just suits together. Barton is quite similar to Meier, who will leave the team. I just hope he has a bit potential left. But not sure.
Andy Riihs definitely has to hate me. And I haven`t finished my transfers yet. Wink You will see later.

Tour de France - Stage 6
Amiens - Le Havre
i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g434/Roturn1988/07%20July/tdf-6-1.jpg
Here we are with the first flat stage without cobbles of this Tour de France. Therefore it`s again a hard finish with some hills on the last kilometers. But hopefully Haussler can climb this without bigger problems. At least the form is there.

i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g434/Roturn1988/07%20July/tdf-6-2.jpg
Several riders in the break of the day. With several minutes back they hope to get a chance here.
Gutiérrez (Movistar), Grabovskyy, Vona (Farnese), Gallopin (Cofidis), Freire (Rabobank), Leukemans (Quick), Vaitkus (RadioShack), Valentin (FDJ), Roulston (Omega) and Bernucci (Colnago).

i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g434/Roturn1988/07%20July/tdf-6-3.jpg
Several teams are doing the pace today. Liquigas for Sagan, HTC for Cavendish, Quickstep for Boonen.

i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g434/Roturn1988/07%20July/tdf-6-4.jpg
The finish was harder than expected. Haussler struggled on the last climb and couldn`t go for a top 10. He just had no good legs today. He will have to try again in the next days.
Even a bigger surprise that Tom Boonen fought for the win with Cavendish. Stronger puncheurs as Hagen and Sagan couldn`t challenge them.

Batista15
Too bad Haussler couldn´t sprint for the win there. Contador and Schleck in the Top 10...not that bad Smile
Good luck for the next stage

BikeRoel
yes I totally agree whit batist15, hoped that Haussler could take in a better place

Thanks both. Indeed a bad sprint with Haussler. He just suffered a lot. Even bigger was my surprise when I saw Cavendish flying up the last climb.

The next transfer is:
i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g434/Roturn1988/Sonstiges/Butler.jpg

Yet another BMC rider. Butler is the third American rider of the BMC squad. Due to the small amount of good American free agents in the next season I had to take another BMC rider. They really need some new domestiques now. Smile Butler has good climbing skills and gets the chance to join the Pro Tour. He knows that this is linked with lots of helper work. But he wants this new challenge.
His biggest success is the 8th in the hard Tour of Slovenie this season and a stage podium in the Amgen Tour of California in 2011.

mowinckel91
Do you think Haussler has a chance to win the points jersey?

roturn
I wanted the point jersey actually. But the course is very similar to the Giro route at the moment. Too many mountain stages and too less real sprint stages. So probably not unfortunately.

Come on! You just bought the whole BMC Team Grin Do they have any riders left next year? Smile

Typical PCM result. Climbers get Top 10. And better puncheurs ( Haussler ) can't keep up with Cavendish on a hilly stage. Oh well, good luck in next stages.

Great transfers, really liek your young team. Feel a bit sorry for BMC though Pfft

Who says that this was the last of them? Wink
Actually I haven`t even noticed that all the Americans came from BMC. Wink
But it could be possible that there are 2-3 sponsor changes in the next season.
I am thinking of
Xacobeo -> Green Edge. Just to get rid of a non existing team
BMC -> Team NSP As there are already lots of Germans in there and Suisse as 2nd country
Maybe I will add another BMC team again, not sure yet.

sam1196
maybe thinking about the difference in climbing skills of Haussler and Cav You should try to make a very hard pace so that Cav won't finish in-time. That's the way i wan't to win the points classification in my carreer.

Some nice transfers, those riders can develop into some nice ones to help your leaders. Smile

I really like your transfers, it's nice to see that you don't just grab the best riders but instead keep it realistic.
