Here is the link i'm referring to where it talks about basso's comments. Cmon, we know from jorg's confession that riis knew what was going on. We also know there was ton of guys out there that haven't been implicated in fuentes/puerto.
https://www.dailyp...topic=7590
Second link is damsguards' comments. From his analysis he knows a good amount of guys are cheating. They just can't pull the trigger yet on some of them.
https://www.dailyp...topic=7430
I believe damsguard but i do not believe for any minute bruyneel is on the level.
And as an american , i do not believe landis or armstrong anymore and haven't for a while. I do beleive in levi and vandevelde and slipstream/garmin. So if VV can do this well clean...the net has to be closing, because VV woulda been wasted years ago.

Thats news to me and most others. I thought he never confessed at all, just claimed to have only considered doping but nothing more. That was what was reported pretty much everywhere

With that kind of argumentation, you can easily incriminate 9/10 of the peloton. As an examble, Vandevelde rode for Liberty Seguros remember. Leipheimer was a Postal rider before the EPO urine test, and I bet we could go on and on. And just for the record. Damsgaard is head of the anti dope regime at both CSC and Astana, so basicly not believing Riis and/or Bruyneel, but believing Damsgaard, is kind of a contradiction? |

YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He f****** did it. I knew he could do it. I was a nerve-wreck during the Time trial but I ligthened up a bit after the second split time. I could cry when he crossed that line.
What did I tell you guys from the beginning, huh? I've said all along that Sastre was top contender for the win, but nobody believed in him. This is so great. He deserves it more than anyone in the entire professional peloton and I'm so happy he has finally done it. It's so well-deserved. I wonder if people will stop questioning his strenght now. I don't care quite frankly because he has won the bloody Tour de France and it's the bggest day of my life, as a cycling fan that is
CAAAAAAAAAAAARRRLLLLLLLOOOOOOOSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

One thing became clear. Andy Schleck won't win the Tour the coming years, unless he DRASTICALLY improves his time trial
Haha, you just had to find something negative about Andy, huh?
That's sad, Ruben

Well, I felt pretty much like A_Schleck did as far as I can see. Only difference is that I didn't believe it at any point until he crossed the line |

I can't be bothered reading 15 new pages of things that include "SAAAASTREEEE", so I will post my own "SAAAASTREEE"
I honestly can't believe he did it, I was rooting for him but thought he had no chance. Evans was very tired this was clear, but Sastre was still awesome although to be honest it reminds me of Rasmussen's miracle TT in yellow, but lets not go there
All I can sy is "CAAAAAARLOOOOOOOS"

Will be awesome to see Carlos riding in his jersey tomorrow. He has waited and waited. Reminds me of a story that David Millar told Eurosport. "Millar described to Eurosport that Sastre was on his own planet 'Planet Sastre David Harmon called it' so Millar rode up to Sastre in the first week of the tour and asked him how he was. Sastre replied "Patience... Patience..." Sastre knows a lot about Patience and he earns every single moment of glory!
Well Done Carlos! |

Aldag must know something..he sayd yesterday..
"At this point, after the Alps and almost three weeks of racing, everybody is tired," said Aldag. "So the time trial will not really be about time trialling talent, but more about tiredness; about who will somehow still be a bit fresh - and currently, nobody feels fresh. So we'll see how it goes."
But he messed up with predicyion..he sayd Evans.. |

That's exactly why this Tour win is so huge. Carlos never win anything. He is always 2nd, 3rd and 4th, but this year he was more focused and determined than ever and the greatest Tour wins are founded in the mountains which Sastre's also was. He has waited and waited, and finally, out of nowhere, he is the best and I just cannot describe the feeling I have in me right now. I'm blown away. He has said that he will win it all year and when he took off at Alpe d'Huez I knew he could do it, he was the strongest there is no doubt and Phanekim, by the way, has to shut the fuck up.
Also because of the fact that Sastre is so sympathic and so generous as a rider it's amazing to see a character like his rise above the others. It's indescribeable.

The links precisely say that damsgaard is frustrated because his screens suggest that a good are doping. Do I think that Levi and VV were always clean? they probably were not. But they were never part of huge doping schemes. In fact, they have never been implicated in any major scandal or have been part of any big book (walsh on landis/armstrong) or anything. The gossip about them is quite small. VV in particular has always been a domestique.
But to me its not a contradiction. What damsgaard is doing is he's sort of an "internal affairs" type person on these teams. Just because he's IA doesn't mean they can't cheat/decieve him which even he thinks they are doing but doesn't have enough evidence to put them away. |

It's Sastre's consitency that I like, he is always up there but now he is finally at the top
He can enjoy his champagne tomorrow. I love the final stages of GT's
At the Giro I think, one of the Tinkoff boys was riding the Press motorcycle

from those Damsgaard links:
Damsgaard: But the chances of it them being a CSC rider is close to zero, because in that case I would have found them out via the blood and EPO urine profiles I do for the team
He's attacking WADA, not CSC and Astana. On the contrary my dear Watson What Damsgaard basicly is saying, is that a lot of athletes that goes free under WADA, wouldn't had gone free in his regime. CSC and Astana gains credibility through those statements. |
