Germany - Spain aka the final before the final. On one hand, Germany have smoked the competition thus far. On the other, Spain have been barely through. I would bet on Spain as Germany wont get the ball . Germany are really sharp and strong this year though
Germany doesn't need the ball extensively. And you're just going by Spain's reputation because they couldn't even dominate Paraguay and Chile. Even if Germany has the ball as often as Switzerland they'll still score. But you know they're much better than that anyway.
Spain is going down. There's only one final Netherlands-Germany.
Netherlands-Brazil was the semi-final before the semi-final.
Question it once again
Spain and Germany are greater than the Netherlands. However the main problem on Spain's side is that Torres cannot help himself arsing around. If he could get sharper and more realistic, then it'll deffo go the other way around
No, Spain and Germany are not 'greater'. Germany is in great form and played the best football overall, but they haven't been really tested and had luck (Lampard goal) and were defeated. Spain is in bad form, has been defeated and needed all the luck they could get to advance past average sides.
Netherlands have been in control in all their matches. They're undefeated not only this tournament but the whole 2 years under this coach. They had some luck v Brazil but with still a lot of time on the clock, so it's hard to say what would have happened if it hadn't dropped in after the mistake. It's different then possibly going down 1-0 to Paraguay with 20 mins to go of a penalty. |

And yeah, if Torres plays better then Spain will be better. But you can say the same thing about Van Persie and the Netherlands. |

And add the fact that we played less than half of our matches with Robben. |

Before Forlan scored, I said I wouldnt be taken aback if Uruguay scored and he did it... Now, I wouldnt be surprised if Uruguay edged out the Netherlands. Btw they both havent blown me away yet - as expected

Holland played another bad game. But what can you expect. The 2-1 goal was an offside on Van Persie. Once again the referee helps Holland through. Pathetic. Germany should destroy them in the final and show them real football. Not this boring shit, |

It's all a conspiracy against you, Likkivi. I bet you're even tortured by Orange people in your dreams.
On another hand, statistic have been proven wrong as an European nation is now going to win a WC outside Europe. |

I must say, if they come against Germany in the finals and play like this then i'm afraid they won't stand a chance. Germany will pierce trough that defense easily imo ...

I'm just really annoyed by the fact that Holland was a favourite from the start of the WC. And here they are - In the final. But they haven't played a single decent game! This years World Cup victory seems to so much less worth than any previous. It's simply the worst World Cup I've ever seen. It makes you sad when you love football. |
