What would you think of these "list" (which "should be better then Lahm" is not a german based discussion , but someone said that Lahm hasn´t international class.
Also he should play more international games to be near or to be "world class"
Yuri Zhirkov , Ashley Cole, Evra, Gallas, Chivu, Gallas, Abidal

Lahm is a great full back. Of that list, Lahm is better than Zhirkov and Chivu. Gallas doesn't play very much on this position, so I don't have a formed opinion. Abidal, is for me, the best. |

Lahm plays very well for the national team. He's average for Bayern. To me, of that list, I'd take him ahead of Zhirkov.
Other than that, Chivu, although being a far more complete footballer than anyone else on the list, and a fantastic team leader and motivator to boot, is not a fullback. Cole is of course the king, despite his sometimes defensive lapses.
Lahm doesn't beat Evra, not even close. Gallas is not a left back, and Abidal is also far ahead of Lahm.
That's my view.

Winger. But since russian teams have a general habit of using 5-3-2 with 3 center backs, no wingers and 2 wing backs, he plays wing back. As a result the defensive midfielder must always compensate, as Zhirkov sucks balls defensively. Mostly in terms of positioning, seeing as with his speed, he can keep with his man. |

Patrice Evra is the best leftback imo

Zhirkov doesn't know how to defend
Evra is very bad with France
Gallas, left back ???
Chivu doesn't play as left back at inter
And you're just forgetting someone called Gabriele Heinze |

Man City open talks with Kaka, even thought the AC chairman just said today that he definately would not be going anywhere. I'm utterly astounded that Kaka is even humouring City, but I'm not complaining
Although I will complain slightly, just to make up for not complaining then. Man City are the 2nd highest goalscorers in the Premiership and yet are in the bottom half, this indicates a shit defence, so why have we only signed Wayne Bridge? Hopefully Sparky will sort something out, ir Robinho can get some more fellow brazilians to join

So pissed Ronaldo won Player of the Year.
However I am happy, as he recently crashed his Ferrari
Is it just me or do United players have trouble keeping their cars on the road (i.e. Wayne Rooney Aston Martin, Ronaldo Ferrari) |

Kaka has now officially been in talks with Man City, and according to an Arabian news site, the owner (I forgot his name) is quoted as saying that Kaka has signed the contract. |

So Kaka could be earning £500,000 per week at Man City. How ridiculous is that? |

A great story is what happened with Buffon. He sarcastically stated that he would go to Man City for 250,000 pounds a week. The Man City leaders were like, "okay" and went ahead and offered that deal. Buffon then had to back out and say he was kidding.
Also, Jermaine Jenas has been linked to Inter Milan, with Hernan Crespo being linked back to Tottenham |

It's official: the major candidate to host the 2018 world cup is now a joint Iberian venture...
I have a bad feeling about this.
