Believe it or not, yes.
It's been a while since I've last seen a rider brake for the corners on a mountain.

It almost sounds like some of you hopes that he is doped rather than hoping he's clean. |

The reason Froome was 2 seconds slower than Armstrong is that the start of the climb was done very very slowly. Once Froome took off he was riding so ridiculously fast, he took back insane amounts of time.
#TDF, Mont Ventoux, last 6.15 km
2000 Marco Pantani: 18 min 11 sec
2013 Chris Froome: 17 min 41 sec
That's half a minute faster than Pantani

Guys don't worry, one of the few completely clean tdf winners in history and doper hater Greg LeMond belives in Froome!
I think we can all breathe a sigh of relief

For those of you who a few pages back were speaking of Bolt and Jamaican sprinters being 'proof of natural talent' or something, 4 jamaicans tested positive. Two are olympic medallist sprinters.
No names revealed yet.
Tyson Gay has also tested positive. Again.
I was the first to argue against those fanboys, several pages ago.
I think I called Jamaica for some kind of Doping heaven, hence their Anti-Doping-Agency do only exist on paper. The history of the sprinters is the same as cycling, the elite have almost always been doped, and continue to do so.
Furthermore its pretty simple to see them using anabolic steorids based on their muscle size + definition in low body fat ratio.
Anyway still hope to see Bolt Blake Gaitlin now when Gay is gone.
Oh and btw so people stop claiming they are natural : Look at the female top 3 Jamaican sprinters, they have more testosteron in your body, than anyone on this forum -.-

Surely froome is innocent as of Right now. But the Way he rides and the Many records he makes raises a lot of bad thoughts recarding if he's clean or not. |

Insane.
The danish commentators yelled this when he dropped Contador:
R.S h no, whats happening!??!
J.L : It looks very scary.
Maybe Froome has a hidden engine in the bike, like Cancellara was accused of years ago
EDIT: A funny thing Quintana said (dont have the original quote in english)
" I was surprised by how strong Froome was, I can only thing of going to bed and rest. I see Froome is sitting on his bike now." (the bike he rides on after each stage, like warming up the ITT)
Froome didnt need any oxygen, he was not crushed as the rest. Two coughs, 1 kiss and he was ready. He had the energi to ride and warm-down his legs.
Dissapointed in Contador loosing so much to Nieve and the group in the last 1-1.5km

Sorry for double post, but anything is not related.
Yesterday, when Froome dropped Contador, Eurosport commentator Olivier Bonamici reacted like this:
"OH, OH, OH, OH, OH, OH, OH"

You all seem to forget that when Armstrong was doping so was 90 percent of the rest allegedly, he just may have done it slightly better. If you all think that Sky are, what makes you think nobody else isnt.
Riders who have done poorly in the past who are now doing better could be because of a cleaner peleton. |

Nobody says that Sky are the only ones.

Then how do you explain that the performance levels have gone back to Armstrong's days?

Valverde, Contador, Rodriguez all crushing Froome only in Spain???? Surely Froome was doping then you say??? surely if he was as you lot say the fact he had a tour in his legs wouldnt have made a difference, Valverde did, wasnt particularly hard tdf for either of them.
Also Contador and Schleck were miles ahead in previous tours were they doping???? They attcked continuously and left everyone behind playing with eachother. Contador and Schleck are now not fit and other right off's such as Nieve, Kreauziger, Rogers and others who are yet to prove themselves are up there, If Froome is on the same level as Contador and Schleck were previously then he is bound to destroy everyone else. Sky do everything better than everyone else because they can afford it so why dont you all just get over it and enjoy the cycling. PS im an orica greenedge fan so dont really give a toss. Big up the backstage pass. |
