The whole Ricco thing just keeps crazy.
Actually I don`t want him back in the peloton. It could be better for him I think.
But the rules with Amore Vita were quite controlling and helpful for him but this change now is totally bad imo.
Totally agree on that point. Amore seemed like a good go, but don't really think a Croatian team will work. Might even go from bad to worse over there.

So obviously he couldn't handle those rules from Amore. I'll take bets on how soon you guys think he will test positive gain.
A. 4 Months
B. 6 Months
C. 1 Year
D. 2 Years
E. Never

There was no way he'd accept those conditions. And honestly, anyone who needs such conditions in order to not to fuck up his own life is better if he's kept away from the sport. |

In other news (I believe this is transfer news): After receiving the invitation to the Tour of Denmark (Post Danmark Rundt), Team Christina Watches are looking for 1 or 2 WorldTour riders to boost their team before August.
My personal opinion on that: Ridiculous. They're charging forward, and I'm not sure they know where they're going. Time will tell, I guess.
Who's actually available for them to sign anyway?
Thomas Dekker.
Former teammate of Michael Rasmussen. Probably doped together, or whatever...
Not realistic though, but a fun thought.

Update on Riccò: He's already training with Meridiana Kamen while they sort out a contract
The preceding post is ISSO 9001 certified

Ricco doped as when he was at Saunier Duval, which is a team that has a reputation as clean as a pig...
He doped (or at least tried to) again in February. He became ill and barely survived.
Then, he did something that improved my confidence in him. He told the world about what he did, about the risks of doping and that he would NEVER do it again and not recommend any young rider to try it.
If he can come back to his 2008-level as a clean rider, and be an ambassador for young riders to not dope (Here in Norway, former criminals are used in ad campaigns against drug and alcohol abuse and shoplifting "Don't do as me", I think Ricco can do the same)
he would be one of my favorite riders. But if he fails a doping test once again I will get a seizure whenever anyone mentions the name "Ricco"...

Source? My memory recalls he totally denied the second case.

Freddie Rodriguez joins Team Exergy.
He's been racing locally for the Specialized Factory Team for the first part of this year and remarked earlier that he was considering a comeback.
