The first rider to set the time to beat was American Tom Zirbel, who went around the course in a disappointing 1h 6m 19s
Despite a puncture and wheel change Mikhail Ignatiev would only finish 6s slower
Wilco Kelderman would sit on the top set of the podium with his time of 1h 5m 36s, but for how long
Not that long because the next man over the finish line beat him by 22s,and that was Svein Tuft
Many riders just couldn't cope with the course and would finish out of the medals, Peter Velits was one
As was Rasmus Quaade
Tiago Machado
Levi Leipheimer
Michał Kwiatkowski
Edvald Boasson Hagen
Me
But more surprisingly Fabian Cancellara
And then we were down to the final three riders off the start ramp to decide who would be the World time trial Champion. Jack Bobridge
Richie Porte
And Tony Martin, but who would it be

Contador doing the double in Valkenburg? Tony Martin disappointing, Cancellara too.
13th by Gary, great performance!
"It’s a little bit scary when Contador attacks." - Tommy V
