When Lance is completely dead and dropped, he does that "Dead elvis grin". Or at least he did before he retired. |

Lance has absolutely no reason to do ANYTHING which lifts the speed of his group - not to shake Wiggo, not for any other reason either. He COULD have followed Fränk's wheel when he jumped, but didn't. Now, his duty is to sit and let Conta & Klödi make as much gap to Wiggo & Nibali as they can...
No reason? If Armstrong had been able to shake Wiggo and get back to the Saxo/Astana then Astana would have been potentially positioned to take the top 3 spots in the Tour. If he stays with Wiggo then there is every chance Wiggo could pass him up on the ITT. |

Kloden will win with an attack like 2004 when Armstrong catched him just on the line.

So? Winning counts. Wiggins COULD have been a threat for Contador in ITT - basically the ONLY threat left in race. You do NOT risk certain yellow shirt to maybe help yourself to podium...
P.s. Contador just made a STUPID attack... |

Regarding the stage win I wouldn't be surprised if Conta cheats them both and takes it.
