there's the 1.1 patch, but I'm not sure if it fixes that. if it doesn't you'll have to wait for the next patch. there are a large amount of bugs (for example, for me the game crashes whenever I try to look at the profile for one of the Giro stages. stage 9 or 10 or whatever. can't quite remember which), but that's to be expected from a project of this size.
We'll just have to wait for the patches

first of all: thanks for your comments
secondly: I'm somewhat confused right now, because the stage bugs were discovered and solved around two months ago but I'm trying to find a solution, because it seems patch 1.1 didn't quiet do the trick - am I right? |

Well T, with the number of errors/bugs that seem to be surfacing, would appear that not much testing was conducted at all. Even your mpg previews clearly showed up visible errors.....A little half baked dont you think???? Perhaps you were in too much of a rush to release it, because of the amount of time its taken. You probably shouldve given it a few more weeks. Did most of the beta testers just simulate the entire season????? must have if common things like jerseys, stsages and equipment etc show up as obviously incorrect.... |

Actually the beta phase was cancelled because of upload issues. Before defending my project I would like to see the errors that annoy you, so maybe a screen or to please?
the equipment, and Dsc transferts were fixed in the patch 1,1. AND I actually wrote in the installer that there was bugs included in the package. |

thats fine....I actually hadnt seen what was in the patch. To save yourself a headache in future I would probably favour some testing of some kind even if you did it yourself. When I created the race kits last year, to ensure everything was perfect, I re-ran races dozens of times. |

I would indeed have run it through hundreds of times if I've had the time for it...
I admit that I rushed the project in it's final stages, and I'm sorry about that. That said, it would be quiet a surprise if this project didn't fail to live up to the high expetations sat for it.. it has been some kind of soloproject and the first I've been working on |

Well T, I think for the better part its quite an achievement. The simple things can trip you up. I've created a few DB's for myself and I know what it takes. If you need assistance in future, feel free to ask. Im sure myself and many others in these forums would be happy to help out. |

@T-photon or anyone who cares to help...
I've been trying to locate the DYN-Cyclist file in the databse in order to do a little stat browsing.
I've tried to locate the database by going through both the PCM directory and through Document/PCM/Database etc etc. I've been unable to find/open the right databse file as when I have found what looks to be the correct file, the DYN-Cyclist seems to have disappeared! I haven't seen that before.
Could anyone tell me what file name I should be looking for and where, and where on earth is the DYN-Cyclist. (If it makes any difference I have also used the one click DB-changer and therefore have duplication of some folders).
Thanks. |

Dyn_Cyclist is contained within the OfficialRelease.cdb file. You can edit with either Kicker or Converters. You will need to refer to the Kicker tutorial or the Converters tutorials for editing.
If you're just simply changing rider stats then you can use Hannes Editor. All are available from the downloads section of PCMDaily.

Now, I haven't installed this DB (yet), so I don't know -- but if there's no database file in Documents/PCM/Database, try opening the OfficialRelease.cdb located in Program Files/Cyanide/PCM/DB/. |
