Stage 2
A day for the sprinters:
Todays breakaway, we had Gerrans in the break.
And Gerrans takes the mountain sprint and the jersey for tomorrow.
The breakaway got caught with 13km to go, and the sprinters began to organize themselves.
Hushvod takes the wheel of Eisel, who is right behind Ciolek and Wegmann.
In the end Ciolek was the strongest.
Manwhile Hushovd couldn't get past Eisel and got "only" a 3td.
Result:
1 Gerald Ciolek Team Milram 4h12'53
2 Bernhard Eisel Team Columbia - High Road s.t.
3 Thor Hushovd Cervélo Test Team s.t.
4 Mathieu Drujon Caisse d'Epargne s.t.
5 Matti Breschel Team Saxo Bank s.t.
6 Francesco Gavazzi Lampre - N.G.C s.t.
7 Jimmy Casper Besson Chaussures - Sojasun s.t.
8 Rubén Pérez Euskaltel - Euskadi s.t.
9 Allan Davis Quick·Step s.t.
10 Rinaldo Nocentini AG2R La Mondiale s.t.
11 Danilo Napolitano Team Katusha s.t.
12 Romain Feillu Agritubel s.t.
13 Murilo Fischer Liquigas s.t.
14 Iñaki Isasi Euskaltel - Euskadi s.t.
15 Geoffroy Lequatre Agritubel s.t.
16 Fabian Cancellara Team Saxo Bank s.t.
17 Fabian Wegmann Team Milram s.t.
18 Edvald Boasson Hagen Team Columbia - High Road s.t.
19 Arnold Jeanneson Caisse d'Epargne s.t.
20 Alessandro Ballan Lampre - N.G.C s.t.
21 Rigoberto Urán Caisse d'Epargne s.t.
22 Pierre Rolland Bbox Bouygues Télécom s.t.
23 Tony Martin Team Columbia - High Road s.t.
24 Martin Elmiger AG2R La Mondiale s.t.
25 Daniel Oss Liquigas s.t.
26 Cyril Dessel AG2R La Mondiale s.t.
27 Jérôme Pineau Quick·Step s.t.
28 Alejandro Valverde Caisse d'Epargne s.t.
29 Niki Terpstra Team Milram s.t.
30 Dani Moreno Caisse d'Epargne s.t.
49 Simon Gerrans Cervélo Test Team s.t.
70 Marcel Wyss Cervélo Test Team s.t.
77 Iñigo Cuesta Cervélo Test Team s.t.
78 Volodymyr Gustov Cervélo Test Team s.t.
83 Daniel Fleeman Cervélo Test Team s.t.
84 José Angel Gómez Marchante Cervélo Test Team s.t.
175 Brett Lancaster Cervélo Test Team + 8'07
With Hushovd' 3td he moves up to the 5th overall and he also got the sprinter jersey, and Gerrans got the mountain jersey so an accetable stge for us.

Stage 3
The first hilly stage of this tour.
Gustov joined todays breakaway. But they were unorganized so B. Hagen rode alone for the most of the stage.
On the second last hill Gilbert attacked, while the other favorites rode back to the peleton after the mountain sprint, he stayed up front.
On the last downhill section, Marchante didn't have any power, So I let a well driving Hushovd attack.
He couldn't catch Gilbert but got a nice gab.
Gilbert took todays stage.
With Gilbert out of reach Hushovd started the sprint, but Petrov had attacked and drove right from him. However they kept a small gab and became 2nd and 3td.
Result:
1 Philippe Gilbert Silence - Lotto 4h35'36
2 Evgeni Petrov Team Katusha s.t.
3 Thor Hushovd Cervélo Test Team s.t.
4 Alessandro Ballan Lampre - N.G.C s.t.
5 Juanjo Cobo Fuji - Servetto s.t.
6 Óscar Pereiro Caisse d'Epargne s.t.

27 Yoann Le Boulanger Agritubel s.t.
28 Thomas Dekker Silence - Lotto s.t.
29 Martin Elmiger AG2R La Mondiale s.t.
30 Kai Reus Rabobank s.t.
34 Marcel Wyss Cervélo Test Team s.t.
50 José Angel Gómez Marchante Cervélo Test Team s.t.
110 Simon Gerrans Cervélo Test Team + 1´34

Two third place for Hushovd. You have been unlucky.

I'm stopping this story, With the exams, and the 09 game coming soon after. I have decided that I won't conteinue this story, I'm thinking about making a new when 09 comes out, but right now I can't find much time to it. Sorry to those who have followed this story, but hopefully you understand
And also thanks to those who have followed and came with hints so the story could be better. |

Whats the difference?
Terminate = destoy?
Suspending = Putting it on hold, but may go on?
If so I terminate it, I won't have much time for it and as soon 09 comes out and one of the big DB is released I will start a new one. |

If I get enough support, I will start a new Cervelo in 09, and about the stats I would wait for a good Db came out. (Daily or Cya) |
