Clasica Ciclista los Puertos
Last race of season is here. And last race for Manuel Medina in our team, he will leave us after season
This hilly classic is important for our sponsors too. Our goal is to finish in TOP5. 93 riders are presented here, no top stars, but many very good climbers. Where can we find favourites? Pujol and Florencio from Cervelo, Martinez (Euskaltel), Capecchi (Fuji - Servetto), Mosquera (Xacobeo) and Rujano with Medina. It will be very hard to satisfy our sponsors...
Noel Vasquez joins early breakaway.
Nieve and Losada attack peloton.
Shchebelin, Perez, Pujol, Bono and Huzarski attacks!
They go over early escapees easily, few moment later Vasquez´s group is caught by peloton.
And finally our riders attack together with Zandio.
Very important moment, Mosquera as last of main contenders attacks and Xacobeo team stops relaying. Peloton won´t be chase escapees anymore.
10km to go and there are two separate groups ahead of peloton. Medina, Rujano, Mosquera, Zandio, Shchebelkin and Nieve try to catch Perez, Pujol, Bono, Losada and Huzarski. Gap is about +30". We need to act if want to succeed!
Rujano attacks chaser´s group, Medina, Zandio and Nieve follows.
They catch leading group, it looks much more promising.
Rujano, Nieve and Zandio continue in their effort, noone from group response!
Less then 3km to go, Nieve in front, but I´m very pleased with current situation
And nothing has changed until finish, Nieve celebrates victory, Rujano is 2nd, Zandio 3rd.
Last sponsor´s goal of this season was completed, even sponsors appreciated it, they popped up to "bad" satisfactory level

I´m back after short break with continuation of my story. I´ve been sacked by management of Gobernacion del Zulia and had to find new team to control. And here it is, I´m very proud to introduce my new team:
Roubaix Lille Metropole - season 2010!
Management of the team has high expectation, it´ll be very hard work to satisfy them.
My team:
Captains:
Sprinters:
DB: PCM daily V2.1 (very slightly modified)
Difficulty: Hard
No training camps
French riders only (as much as possible)

First race of season is La Tropicale Amissa Bongo - kinown as Tour du Gabon as well. Although this race is only preparation for first season´s goal (Etoile de Besseges) in February, I want to succeed here, need as much points as possible
Stage 1
Only hilly stage of Tour, hope my riders will be able to follow attackers in late part of stage.
There were many attacks from beginning, but nothing serious. Now it´s less then 20km to go and real race is just starting. Lefevre attacks first. Fedrigo feels good today and follows with some others.
After more and more attacks, group of 11 riders (including Fedrigo) formed in front. Laurent and Ladino are now leading.
Last hill and here is decisive moment of the stage. Attack from unknown MTN rider named Khalmuratov, only Fedrigo, Veikkanen (FDJ) and Fukushima (Joker Bianchi) can follow.
Last kilometer, it will be close.
And it´s Fukushima, Japanese kamikadze is fastest in sprint! Referees from Gabon likes Frenchies more then Finns and decided that Fedrigo is 2nd, Veikkanen 3rd. Very close and hard finish.

There's four indicators to which nationality the teams will go for. These have been set correctly, and unfortunately, there's not much else to do than that. |

thanks CT, am i right that most decisive column is value_i_nationalism?
similar problem - there are too many free riders and almost all small and poor teams hire many of them after season, which is really unrealistic. Does exist any indicator which controls how many riders can be signed or something like that? |

Stage 2
25km to go and huge breakaway group is caught by peloton.
Sprint has just began, my men are in good position. Lemair feels very good today.
Both my riders are trying to sneak around the barrier...
...but they are blocked by Rijntjes! I have just lost my chance to win. Van Katwijk moves forward, C. Van Heerden is on right side.
Van Katwijk takes the win ahead of Van Heerden and Lemair. There are no changes in GC, Fedrigo will wear green jersey again tomorrow.

Stage 3
Very nice scenario, Vaugrenard and Gaudin try to run away in deep forest...but without success, Joker Bianchi train will swallow them later.
Situation shortly before mass sprint, Fedrigo and Lemair join Cofidis train lead by Duque.
Duque´s job is over, Janek Tombak moves in front, Fedrigo is in bad daily condition, he´ll try keep rear wheel as long as possible. Lemair is trying to improve his position.
Tombak celebrates his winner, Fedrigo takes another 2nd place, secures his green jersey and due some bonification is now new overall leader! Caethoven finishes as 3rd, no more
podium place for my team today.
