Block 4 results
A lot of points available with the first monument of the year. The Cobblers scored well with Philipsen, but the Matthews/Mohoric combo gave the Spokes even more points. Also some good scoring from the Racoons with Van Gils being a really good pick so far.
If you would have drafted Paul Lapeira, he would've made you 120 points this block, winning both French classics. But alas, no. The was some consistent scoring from Tom Van Asbroeck for the W though.
Finally in De Panne there was more Philipsen, making him and the Cobblers the big winners of this block. Hornets, Racoons and Rogues also had some good scoring. On to the rankings, where we have a new leader!
Without any surprise, the Cobblers take the lead after a very strong block. But it's all so very close. The Zondagcoureurs are less than 100 points down. In 3rd and just 10 points down are the Spokes, who also had a great block. The same can be said about the Racoons in 4th.
The Fainthearts scored everywhere this block and it gets them into the top 5. The Rogues managed to stay 6th and now have their star rider back. The Macros drop to 7th after a rather bad block, only scoring in De Panne. The same goes for the Hornets.
The Red Lanterns drop to 9th, not being able to repeat Block 1 so far. The W and Hussars are tied for 10th. The Ice Tulips are 12th, perhaps a bit to reliant on Pogacar? Venturini saves the 59'ers from a second zero pointer in a row, while the Bombers remain last as Alaphilippe doesn't have luck on his side this year.

Didn't realize that Welsford got some assist points in BDP, so actually not a zero-pointer. Still disappointing, looks like De Kleijn was blocked by a crash. Can happen, still not ideal when you only have like 3 races ^^
Congrats to the Cobblers on a great block!
We continue to consistently score small to medium points, which is pretty much all I can expect with this team. With Bettiol being the obvious overperformer so far, fantastic job!

I was hoping Kooij would win the sprint for 3rd here, but he isn't the dominant sprinter I expected him to be. At least not in those classics. 6th is still a decent result. Bissegger in 12th brings home some points, too, the rest of the team was pretty anonymous.
At least Bettiol said he'd be back for DdV, so one potential scorer more in our lineup.
Congrats to the Racoons, although the W surely had a good race again with 2nd and 7th.

Weaker blocks 3 and 4 but still decent in the rankings. Great E3 with Stuyven and Wellens, but not a lot today. Nice to see De Bondt in the break and Stuyven as Mads' teammate at least. Let's see what DDV brings.

We're halfway through the game now, but still 3 monuments (and a whole lot of points) to go. Starting this sunday with the Ronde Van Vlaanderen. You could say it's the hardest race to win, as no one has won it more than 3 times. Mathieu could already join that list this year though, so who knows.
But before we get there, we have 3 smaller races to go. There's your typical French Classic on friday. On Saturday we have the only Spanish Classic of the game as well as the Volta Limburg Classic. All in on the Ronde or trying for a smaller win?
Startlists aren't great yet, but I need your 8 riders by Friday morning 10:00.
