3 consecutive GTs will start in Holland.....Vuelta2009, Giro2010, Tour 2010....
Let's kick out the jams, why not a Vuelta starting in Moscow and slowly making its way to spain throughout the first 20 stages? |

Although I agree it's kinda stupid for especially the Giro or Vualta(France is a little closer) to come all the way to Holland, but I still like it a lot! |

why not, a tour of europe would be awesome, every stage in a different country. I don't see any issues with that

The issue of riders who dont want to travel far between stages. |

if you give it a 2nd thought it might be plausible. if the race were ment to happen along the fronteirs it wouldn't have so many problems. Benelux France Germany could be crossed in a matter of days and it could quite long the distance travelled if the race was raced for a long period.
In grand tours the riders race thousands of kilometers...now imagine that in straight line through europe. plus crossing countries in europe is not like passing to the usa through mexico...

It's like the originnaly proposed Tour of America which had 27 stages and was almost 2 times as long as any of the other Grand Tours. Yikes |

Had it not been for Riis' "I have doped"-statement, I'm sure the Tour would have started in Denmark sooner or later. That would have been crazy |

No just 2065, Rasmussen didn't win the Tour like Riis, he was fired before he could do that
