It's like saying "Team A plays team B, C plays D, E plays F, and Villareal gets a bye"

Seriously speaking, the teams probably couldn't have been 'matched' any better. This round really is the beauty of Champions League
....and then there's Villareal-Panathinaikos
And Porto - Atletico |

You know mike, taking jabs at people only works if there's some semblance of truth to what you're saying
Without credibility, it's hard to piss people off

Even you've got to admit that there's a long distance from Porto - Athletico to Inter - Manchester United. |

As much as you hate that I'm not blindly biased in every sport like you are, saying that I am won't change anything. Now go back to praising McLaren and calling everyone else a Ferrari fan.

Yes there is. Yet that has nothing to do with the previously ongoing discussion about how well matched the teams are in this round.
Also, it's "Atletico". I thought you said you spoke spanish.
*shakes fists around*
c'mon pussy, Is that all you got?

Soon time for Real Madrid - Liverpool! I think it will end 0-1 to Pool, Torres will score the goal! Gerrard will start on the bench.

Clearly you didn't see the game last night. Was way better than Inter - Man Utd. And I guess you didn't follow any of the matches both teams played this year in the CL otherwise you wouldn't say that

I'm not able to watch the game, but I've heard that Alonso nearly scored from his own half again. How does he do it... |

Well, neither the Chelsea nor the Liverpool matches were that exciting, but that was pretty expected |

Carnt believe liverpool won, thought real would cream them, but fair do- another great result for them. Chelsea have done enough to get through i reckon. All four english clubs through! With Barce, Porto, Munich, and probably Villarreal |

2151: "Without Gerrard and then Torres in the second half, we did really well to win the game. There is no part of me that is thinking of walking away from Liverpool. I want to concentrate on the important games, I was in contact with the owners today and we'll speak again soon."
Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez
(BBC)
Hopefully that puts the rumours to bed. |

I really don't get Real. They have vd vaart, sneijder, gago, etc. And then they let Diarra get the last CL spot. While with RVN injured, Huntelaar would be more logical.
And Huntelaar is in form too, scoring 3 in his last 2 games. But ok, Ramos is a moron |

This Sporting team has zero mental strength. As usual they were teaching Bayern how to play football......until they let one goal in....then the floodgates opened.

Coached 12 clubs in 14 seasons....11 in 10 if you exclude Betis......I'm still amazed how anyone thinks he's any good.

Two defensive players (Gago, Lass) and no n°10 like Sneijder
