Stage victory for Phil Gil after attacking over the climb in the breakaway! Second place goes to Aranburu, with Barcelo coming in third.

Nairo Quintana doesn't so much attack as just riding them off his wheel at the moment.

Currently Quintana slowly increasing the gap over the Roglic, Lopez and teammate Valverde over the harsh gradient of above 20%. Nothing too worrying for Roglic at the moment though.
Pogacar has a bit of a surge!

Pierre Latour now leading the stage with 4.5km to go. The Frenchman is on the attack for the stage victory.

Just 1min though for the GC riders. Looks like they will catch him as well. |

Everyone else going to piggy back off Bora's effort to break Majka free on the climb to close the gap to Quintana.

Managing to hold the gap at a minute currently with under 3km to go though. Could be quite the effort from Latour if he holds it until the end.

Quintana going bye-bye now after all that earlier effort. Wilco Kelderman had enough now as well.

2,7km and the favourites have opened gaps between each other.
Now they go full energy, which makes it hard for Latour. |

There goes Valverde now, and Slovenia are smashing the race to bits behind Latour.

Pogacar closing in on moving into a possible podium position. However, Quintana has found some strength and is riding back up towards the group. Quintana fighting to rejoin the Valverde group.

Roglic and Pogacar working to catch Latour before the finishing line. 1.6k remaining and it looks like it'll be a two or three-way exhausted sprint for the line to decide the stage victor.

That comeback right now from Quintana is quite impressive.
Reminding on his best days actually. Just bad he was dropped before. |

Onto the flatter section now for Pogacar and Roglic, who lead the stage now. Pierre Latour probably going to have to settle for third after being dropped before the road flattened out.

Rafal Majka having a +5 race day today. Valverde, Quintana and co closing in on Latour for the third place time bonifications.
