what about Hushovd?

Any news right now about his future team?

He wants to go to a one of the French teams, but none of them are really able to pay the wage he demands.

Has Credit Agricole found a new sponsor? Which teams didn't find a sponsor by now?

CrueTrue
Credit Agricole is finito. Gerolsteiner hasn't found a new sponsor either.

Hmm, maybe this was mentioned somewhere else, but Floyd Landis has officially signed with Rock Racing starting from 2009 season.

Caruso has extended his contract with Ceramica Flaminia-Bossini Docce.

Geslin goes to Francaise des Jeux.

Kohl possibly go to Silence or quickstep...personally i would like to see him silence so kohl and evans can form a strong tandem, quickstep wld be too focused on the sprints for boonen

Le Lay (Agritubel) will be back at Bretagne - Armor Lux. That team is also getting in touch with Le Boulanger (FDJ) and Hinault (CA) who don't have contracts for the next season.
Malacarne and Blot will turn pro there too, most likely.

That raises the number of non-suspicious riders at Rock Racing from zero to zero (not counting youngsters, of course). As Frankie Andreu put it: Michael Ball is the shadiest character ever. Expect a bucketload of positive tests from that team in the near future.

Looks like Garmin is getting closer to getting Dekker once he and Rabo divorce.

Apparently Thomas Dekker is a free agent as of today. (I saw it on PPDB, the article was in Dutch thoughPfft)

Time to put him on auction? Pfft Thomas Dekker on eBay

It's on l'Equipe too. They say that he had abnormal blood values (we already knew) and that's why they didn't bring him to the TDF.
He also hardly gave Rabobank access to his medical file apparently, making them suspicious about a potential (let's say it's only potential, erm) dope use.

 CSC will get him then. Why would Slipstream be interested?

him going to team fast food is either a very good sign on Dekker or a very bad sign on the team...

I didn't have an opinion about it before the last TDF, but after witnessing Vande Velde during the last TDF I'd hardly take something else than the second option...
